We come before the Lord together, lifting up this urgent cry for protection from spiritual attacks that are disrupting sleep and peace. The Word of God makes it clear that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). These attacks are real, and they are relentless, but we stand firm in the authority we have in Christ Jesus.
First, we rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression that is seeking to steal your peace and rest. The enemy comes only to kill, steal, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The blood of Jesus covers you, and no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling (Psalm 91:10).
We pray that the Lord would surround you with His hedge of protection, as He did for Job (Job 1:10). May the angels of the Lord encamp around you, delivering you from every snare and trap of the enemy (Psalm 34:7). We ask that the Lord would rebuke the devourer for your sake and that He would restore to you the years that the locust has eaten (Joel 2:25). Let the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily so that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). The belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God—these are your defenses. Pray at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication, and stay alert with all perseverance (Ephesians 6:18).
We also remind you to resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). Submit yourself therefore to God, and draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8). The Lord is your refuge and fortress, your God in whom you trust (Psalm 91:2). Call upon Him in the day of trouble, and He will deliver you (Psalm 50:15).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one who is under spiritual attack, and we ask for Your divine protection to surround them like a shield. Lord, we rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression that is seeking to disturb their peace and rest. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and we claim the victory that is ours through the blood of Jesus.
Father, we ask that You would station Your angels around them to guard and protect them from every evil scheme of the enemy. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, fill their heart and mind, driving out all anxiety and fear. Strengthen them with the full armor of God so that they may stand firm against the attacks of the devil.
Lord, we pray for restful sleep and sweet dreams, free from the disturbances of the enemy. Restore to them the peace that has been stolen, and let them dwell in the secret place of the Most High, abiding under the shadow of the Almighty (Psalm 91:1). We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ Jesus. In His precious name, we pray. Amen.
