We stand with you in this spiritual battle, lifting you up before the throne of grace. The Word of God reminds us that we do not fight against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). These attacks you are experiencing are not from God, for He gives His beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2), and His peace guards our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
First, we must rebuke these attacks in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for He has given us authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). There is no weapon formed against you that shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we declare that the blood of Jesus covers you, shielding you from every fiery dart of the wicked one (Ephesians 6:16). We command every spirit of disturbance, fear, and torment to flee from you now, in the name of Jesus, for He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the authority You have given us through Christ to stand against the schemes of the devil. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister who is under relentless spiritual attack. We ask that You surround them with Your holy angels to guard and protect them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11). Father, we plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, body, and spirit, creating a hedge of protection that the enemy cannot penetrate.
Lord, grant them peaceful and restful sleep, free from disturbances and nightmares. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen them with Your might in their inner being, so that Christ may dwell in their heart through faith (Ephesians 3:16-17). Help them to put on the full armor of God daily— the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word (Ephesians 6:13-17).
Father, we ask that You fill them with the Holy Spirit, who will lead them into all truth and remind them of Your promises (John 14:26). Let them find refuge in You, their strong tower, and may they be safe in Your care (Proverbs 18:10). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ Jesus.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is your refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2). Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). Spend time in God’s Word daily, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Meditate on scriptures that speak of God’s protection and peace, such as Psalm 91, Psalm 23, and Philippians 4:6-7. Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with you and encourage you in your walk with Christ.
If you have not already, consider fasting and praying for a season, as this can break the power of the enemy (Mark 9:29). Remember, the battle belongs to the Lord (1 Samuel 17:47), and He is faithful to deliver you. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust in His unfailing love. You are not alone in this fight, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Stand strong, and do not grow weary, for your victory is assured in Christ Jesus.
