We hear your cry for help and stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Spiritual attacks are real, and the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we serve a God who is greater and has already overcome the world. The disturbances in your sleep and the attacks on your body and mind are not from God, for He gives His beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2). The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10).
First, we must rebuke the enemy and his schemes in the powerful name of Jesus. The Bible tells us that we have authority over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means harm us (Luke 10:19). We take up the full armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand (Ephesians 6:13). We put on the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the readiness of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God (Ephesians 6:14-17).
We also encourage you to resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). Submit yourself to God, draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8). The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We lift up our dear brother/sister who is under relentless spiritual attack. We rebuke the enemy and his schemes, and we command him to flee in Jesus' name. We declare that no weapon formed against our brother/sister shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we ask that You surround them with Your holy angels to protect and defend them. We pray for a hedge of protection around their body, mind, and spirit, that no harm or disturbance may come near them (Psalm 91:11-12). We ask that You fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we pray for restful and peaceful sleep for our brother/sister. We ask that You give them sweet sleep and renew their strength like the eagle's (Psalm 127:2, Isaiah 40:31). We declare that they shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday (Psalm 91:5-6).
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and Your promise to never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). We trust in Your protection and Your power to deliver our brother/sister from every spiritual attack. We give You all the glory, honor, and praise, in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear one, and remember that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and do not be afraid, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9).
