We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent cry for protection from spiritual attacks. The Word of God reminds us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). We stand firm in the truth that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
Father God, we rebuke every assignment of the enemy against this dear one’s body and mind. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, emotions, and physical body, knowing that the enemy has no legal right to harass or torment a child of God. Lord, we ask You to station Your holy angels around them to guard and protect them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11).
We pray specifically for undisturbed, restful sleep. Your Word says that You give Your beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2), and we claim that promise now. Drive away every spirit of fear, anxiety, and torment that seeks to steal their peace. Fill their mind with thoughts of Your goodness, Your faithfulness, and Your love. Let them lie down and sleep in peace, for You alone, Lord, make them dwell in safety (Psalm 4:8).
We also address any areas where the enemy may have gained a foothold. Have there been moments of unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or compromise that have given the devil an opportunity to attack? We encourage a thorough examination of the heart before the Lord. If there is anything that needs to be repented of or renounced, we pray for the courage and humility to do so. The enemy seeks to devour, but we resist him, standing firm in the faith (1 Peter 5:8-9).
Lord, we ask You to strengthen this beloved one with Your might in their inner being. Fill them with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so they may walk in a manner worthy of You, fully pleasing You, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1:9-10). Remind them that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37).
We also pray for a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit. May they be clothed with the full armor of God—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—so they may stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:13-17). Let them wield the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word, and pray at all times in the Spirit with all prayer and supplication.
Father, we thank You that You are a shield to those who take refuge in You (Proverbs 30:5). We thank You that You neither slumber nor sleep, and that You are watching over Your children (Psalm 121:3-4). We declare that this spiritual attack will not prevail, for the battle belongs to You, Lord. We trust in Your mighty name, Jesus, and we stand on the promise that the gates of hell shall not prevail against Your church (Matthew 16:18).
In the powerful name of Jesus, we bind every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression. We loose peace, joy, and the fruit of the Spirit over this life. We declare that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray for complete restoration—spirit, soul, and body—and for a renewed sense of Your presence and protection.
Lord, we ask that You would reveal any areas of their life where they may be vulnerable to attack. Give them wisdom to walk in Your ways and to flee from every appearance of evil. Surround them with godly fellowship and accountability, so they are not isolated and susceptible to the enemy’s lies. Let them be rooted and grounded in Your love, so they may be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:17-19).
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your unfailing love. May this dear one experience Your deliverance and walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for them. We give You all the glory, honor, and praise, for You alone are worthy. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
