We stand with you in this battle, lifting your cry for protection before the throne of grace. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). These relentless attacks on your body and mind, these disturbances in your sleep, are not from God—He gives His beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2). The Word declares that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). But take heart, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
We rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression in the mighty name of Jesus. We command every assignment of the enemy against your mind, body, and rest to be broken and dismantled now. The Lord is your refuge and fortress; in Him you trust (Psalm 91:2). No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Heavenly Father, we come before You as Your children, clothed in the righteousness of Christ. We ask You to surround [this dear one] with Your holy angels, to encamp around them and deliver them from every evil work (Psalm 34:7). Lord, let Your presence be a shield and buckler, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, body, and spirit—let no harm come near their dwelling. Father, restore their sleep, renew their strength, and fill them with Your perfect peace. May they lie down and sleep in safety, for You alone make them dwell in safety (Psalm 4:8).
We also encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God (Ephesians 6:13-17). Stand firm, resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). Speak the Word over your life, for it is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Fill your mind with whatever is true, noble, just, pure, lovely, and of good report (Philippians 4:8). And remember, the name of Jesus is above every name, and at His name, every knee must bow (Philippians 2:9-10). You are not alone in this fight—we stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord of hosts fights for you.
Lord, we thank You that You hear our prayers and that You are faithful to deliver Your children from all evil. Strengthen [this one] with might by Your Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in their heart through faith (Ephesians 3:16-17). Let them know the height, depth, width, and breadth of Your love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). We declare victory in Jesus’ name, for the battle is not theirs, but Yours (2 Chronicles 20:15). Amen.
