We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for protection from spiritual attacks. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand firm in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already overcome the powers of darkness. These relentless attacks on body and mind, disrupting sleep and peace, are not from God but from the evil one who prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). We rebuke these attacks in the mighty name of Jesus, for He has given us power to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).
Beloved, you are not alone in this battle. The Lord is your refuge and fortress, your God in whom you trust. He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness is your shield and rampart (Psalm 91:2, 4). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Him (Isaiah 54:17).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one who is under spiritual attack, and we ask for Your divine protection to surround them like a shield. Lord, You are the God who neither slumbers nor sleeps (Psalm 121:4), and we ask that You would guard their mind, body, and spirit from every scheme of the enemy. Drive away the darkness, Lord, and let Your light shine brightly in their life.
We plead the blood of Jesus over them, covering every area of their life—mind, body, soul, and spirit. We rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression in the name of Jesus. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37), and that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. Father, we ask that You would fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Lord, we ask that You would strengthen their faith and remind them of Your promises. Help them to resist the devil, standing firm in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are being experienced by their brothers and sisters in the world (1 Peter 5:9). Surround them with Your angels, Lord, to encamp around them and deliver them (Psalm 34:7). We ask that You would grant them restful sleep, free from disturbances and nightmares, as they lie down in peace and sleep, for You alone, Lord, make them dwell in safety (Psalm 4:8).
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. We declare that the enemy has no power over this child of God, for greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We stand in agreement with this dear one, believing for complete deliverance and protection in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Beloved, we encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily so that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. Fasten the belt of truth around your waist, put on the breastplate of righteousness, and as shoes for your feet, put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. In all circumstances, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit (Ephesians 6:14-18).
Remember, the battle belongs to the Lord. He will fight for you; you need only to be still and trust in Him (Exodus 14:14). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and do not grow weary or lose heart. The Lord is your strength and your song; He has become your salvation (Psalm 118:14). Stand firm, dear one, and watch as the Lord delivers you from every attack of the enemy.
