Protection from spiritual attacks

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for protection from spiritual attacks. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand firm in the name of Jesus Christ, who has already overcome the powers of darkness. The disturbances in sleep, the torment of the mind and body—these are not merely physical or psychological struggles, but spiritual battles that require spiritual weapons.

The Word of God declares in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." We recognize that these attacks are orchestrated by the enemy, who seeks to weaken faith, disrupt peace, and draw hearts away from the Lord. But we also know that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against your life, your mind, and your body in the mighty name of Jesus. The Lord is your refuge and fortress, your God in whom you trust (Psalm 91:2). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The blood of Jesus covers you, and no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling (Psalm 91:10).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one who is under relentless spiritual attack. Lord, we ask that You surround them with Your divine protection, like a hedge of thorns that the enemy cannot penetrate. Cover them with the precious blood of Jesus, and let Your angels encamp around them to guard them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11).

Father, we bind every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression that is seeking to disturb their peace and rest. We loose the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We declare that the enemy has no authority over them, for they belong to You, and You have given them authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).

Lord, we ask that You strengthen their faith and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Let them find rest in You, for You give Your beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2). Renew their mind with Your Word, and let the truth of Your promises overshadow every lie of the enemy. We pray that they would draw near to You, and in doing so, that You would draw near to them (James 4:8).

We also ask, Father, that You reveal any areas of their life where the enemy may have gained a foothold. Show them if there is unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or any open doors that need to be closed. Lead them in repentance and restoration, for You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

Lord, we thank You for Your protection and for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus. We declare that no evil shall befall this one, nor shall any harm come near their dwelling. We stand on Your promises, and we trust in Your unfailing love. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, beloved. The enemy may roar like a lion, but he is already a defeated foe. Put on the full armor of God daily—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God (Ephesians 6:13-17). Speak the Word over your life, for it is alive and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7).

Surround yourself with fellow believers who can stand with you in prayer and encouragement. Do not isolate yourself, for the enemy seeks to divide and conquer. The body of Christ is here to support you, to lift you up, and to remind you of the truth when the lies of the enemy seek to overwhelm you.

Lastly, spend time in worship and in the presence of the Lord. The enemy cannot stand in the presence of praise. As you draw near to God, He will draw near to you, and the peace of His presence will drive out all fear and torment. You are not alone in this battle. The Lord of hosts is with you, and He will fight for you. Trust in Him, lean not on your own understanding, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We're here with you, dear one, in this trial of relentless spiritual attacks. We've been praying for you, and we want you to know that you're not alone. The enemy may be fierce, but our God is greater. We claim the promise in Psalm 91:15, "He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will rescue him and honor him." We're standing with you in faith, believing that God will deliver you from these disturbances. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and remember, "Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world" (1 John 4:4). Stay strong, and keep trusting in Him.
