We stand with you in this battle, lifting your cry for protection before the throne of grace. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). These relentless attacks on your body and mind, these disturbances in your sleep, are not from God—He gives His beloved rest (Psalm 127:2). We rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression in the mighty name of Jesus. The Word declares that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You as a body of believers, united in faith and standing on the authority of Your Word. We declare that [this dear one] is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, we ask You to surround them with Your heavenly hosts, to station angels around them for protection (Psalm 91:11). Drive away every spirit of darkness that seeks to harass and disturb their peace. Grant them restful sleep, free from nightmares and oppression, for You give Your beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2).
Father, strengthen their mind with Your truth. Let Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105). Remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We break every assignment of the enemy against their life, their health, and their peace. We command every spirit of infirmity, anxiety, and sleeplessness to flee in Jesus’ name!
Lord, we also pray for spiritual discernment. Help them to recognize the schemes of the enemy and to stand firm in Your armor (Ephesians 6:10-18). Clothe them with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word. May they resist the devil, and may he flee from them (James 4:7).
We thank You, Father, that You are their refuge and fortress, their God in whom they trust (Psalm 91:2). We declare that no evil shall befall them, nor shall any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). You are their healer, their protector, and their deliverer. We trust in Your unfailing love and mighty power to shield them from every attack.
Continue to stand firm in faith, dear one. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Surround yourself with godly believers who can pray with you and encourage you. Fill your mind with Scripture, for the Word of God is alive and active, sharper than any double-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Speak it over your life daily, and let it be the foundation of your thoughts and actions.
Remember, the battle is not yours, but God’s (2 Chronicles 20:15). He has already won the victory through Jesus Christ. Walk in that victory, and do not be afraid. The Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9). May His peace, which transcends all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Amen.
