We stand with you in this spiritual battle, lifting your request before the throne of grace. The Word of God reminds us that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, and against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). These attacks you describe are not mere coincidences or natural occurrences—they are the schemes of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But we declare that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
First, we rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression that has been sent to disturb your peace and rest. The Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We command every lying spirit to flee in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for He has given us authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). We plead the blood of Jesus over your mind, body, and spirit, for it is the blood that speaks better things than that of Abel (Hebrews 12:24).
We encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Stand firm with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, the breastplate of righteousness in place, your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace, the shield of faith to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God (Ephesians 6:14-17). Do not neglect prayer and supplication, staying alert with perseverance in prayer for all the saints (Ephesians 6:18).
We also remind you to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). The enemy often attacks the mind first, planting seeds of doubt, fear, and confusion. But we declare that your mind is renewed by the Word of God, and you have the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16). Meditate on Scripture day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it, for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success (Joshua 1:8).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the authority You have given us over all the power of the enemy. We stand in agreement with this dear brother/sister, declaring that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, we ask that You surround them with Your holy angels, who excel in strength and do Your commandments, hearkening to the voice of Your word (Psalm 103:20). Let Your angels encamp around them and deliver them from every evil work (Psalm 34:7, 2 Timothy 4:18).
Father, we plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, body, and spirit. Let the blood cleanse and protect them from every attack of the enemy. We rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression, commanding them to flee in Jesus’ name. We declare that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Lord, grant them restful sleep, free from disturbances and nightmares. Let them lie down and sleep in peace, for You alone make them dwell in safety (Psalm 4:8).
We pray that You fill them with Your Holy Spirit, who will guide them into all truth and remind them of Your Word (John 16:13). Strengthen them with might by Your Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in their heart through faith (Ephesians 3:16-17). Let them be rooted and grounded in love, that they may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height—to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge, that they may be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:17-19).
Father, we ask that You reveal any areas of their life where the enemy may have gained a foothold. Show them if there is any unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or open door that needs to be closed. Lead them to repentance and restoration, that they may walk in the light as You are in the light, and the blood of Jesus Christ Your Son may cleanse them from all sin (1 John 1:7). We declare that they are more than conquerors through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37).
Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. We trust in Your promises and declare that the enemy’s attacks will not prevail. We praise You for Your protection, provision, and peace. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
