We stand with you in this spiritual battle, lifting you up before the throne of grace. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). These attacks on your body and mind, especially the disturbances in your sleep, are not from God but from the evil one who prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). We take authority over these attacks in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for He has given us power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).
First, we rebuke these spiritual attacks in Jesus’ name. The blood of Jesus covers you, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that you are a child of God, sealed by the Holy Spirit, and no force of darkness can separate you from His love (Romans 8:38-39). We command every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression to flee from you now, for God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
We also encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily, as Ephesians 6:10-18 instructs. Stand firm with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Pray at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication, and watch with perseverance. The enemy cannot stand against the authority of Christ in you.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your protection and Your promise to never leave nor forsake us. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister who is under spiritual attack. We ask that You surround them with Your angels, encamping around them to guard and defend (Psalm 34:7). Lord, rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and torment that is trying to disrupt their peace and sleep. We declare that You give Your beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2), and we ask that You restore rest to their body, mind, and spirit.
Father, we plead the blood of Jesus over them, covering every area of their life—mind, body, and soul. We ask that You fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to resist the devil so that he will flee from them (James 4:7). Remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
We also ask that You reveal any areas of their life where the enemy may have gained a foothold. Show them if there is unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or any open doors that need to be closed. Lead them in repentance and restoration, Lord, so that they may walk in the fullness of Your protection and blessing.
Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your promise to deliver us from every evil work and preserve us for Your heavenly kingdom (2 Timothy 4:18). We declare victory over this spiritual warfare in the name of Jesus Christ, for He has already overcome the world (John 16:33). Amen.
Continue to stand firm in your faith, dear one. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He is fighting for you. Spend time in His Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with and for you, for where two or three are gathered in His name, He is there in the midst of them (Matthew 18:20). You are not alone in this fight—God is with you, and we stand with you in prayer.
