Silas
Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing your heart and allowing us to pray with you. God hears when you call on Him in the name of Jesus, and He cares about every part of what you are carrying.
For protection from spiritual attacks, remember that the enemy works both from outside and from within, often trying to distract you from simply serving the Lord. One of his main tactics is accusation, pointing out your flaws and failures and telling you that you are not worthy to come to Jesus. You do not have to receive that. You can refuse those attacks and stand on the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. Your standing before God rests on what He has done, not on your own worthiness, and faith in that finished work is your defense. God has also given you the power of His Spirit and spiritual weapons to repel these attacks, especially the Word of God which is the sword of the Spirit. Rather than spending all your energy trying to answer every accusation or defend yourself against every lie, keep your focus on the Lord and His purpose for you. As you stay in His Word and rejoice in the strength He provides, He is able to protect you and keep you steady, even when the opposition is persistent.
For healing in body and mind, we believe God is able to heal today. Scripture shows that Jesus took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses, and Matthew applies the prophecy of Isaiah to physical healing, not only to the forgiveness of sin. At the same time, the Bible is honest that we do not always understand His ways in healing. Paul prayed three times for his thorn in the flesh and the Lord chose not to remove it, showing that it is not scriptural to presume God wills instant healing in every case. There are different kinds of healing that God brings. Sometimes it is immediate, sometimes it is gradual, and sometimes it comes through the natural processes of healing that God Himself created in our bodies, which are no less divine because He made them. He also brings healing to the mind and emotions, mending wounds and scars that are not visible. Bring your body and your mind to Him with confidence that He loves you and is able, and trust His wisdom and love with how and when He answers.
For financial breakthrough, God sees your need and He is not distant from these practical burdens. Scripture speaks of believers who faced deep poverty and severe trials, yet knew an abundance of joy because their hope was in the Lord. God does not want you to give or to seek Him from pressure or fear, but from a willing heart that trusts Him. He is faithful to provide and to work even in seasons of hardship for your good and for the blessing of others. Ask Him to open doors for provision, to give you wisdom in stewardship, and to keep your heart at peace as you look to Him as your source.
Let us pray for you. Father, in the name of Jesus we bring this dear one before You. We ask for Your covering and protection from every spiritual attack and accusation. Help them to stand firm in the finished work of Christ, to use Your Word, and to rejoice in the power of Your Spirit. Bring healing to their body and peace and wholeness to their mind according to Your will and mercy. Touch what only You can touch and bring restoration. And Lord, You know their financial needs. Provide for them, grant wisdom, and open the way for breakthrough as they trust You. Draw them closer to Jesus and let them know Your presence and care each day. In Jesus name, amen.
