We are praying with you and we thank you for sharing these needs so honestly.
For protection from spiritual attacks, we rest on what Scripture shows us about Jesus. He has power in the material realm to calm wind and sea, and He has authority in the spiritual realm to command evil powers and they obey Him. When multitudes came to Him bringing those who were sick and those oppressed by evil spirits, He did not turn them away. He is still the same Lord today, able to guard and keep those who belong to Him. We ask Him to cover you, to be your refuge and strength, and to give you peace as you trust in Him and walk close to Him in His Word and in prayer.
For healing in body and mind, we believe God does heal and that healing is for today. The prophet Isaiah said He has borne our griefs and carried our sicknesses, and Matthew applies that prophecy to the healing work of Jesus, that He came to bear our infirmities. When Jesus took the bread and said this is my body which is broken for you, He was pointing to a work that touches both soul and body. At the same time there is much about healing we do not understand. We do not know why some are healed and others are not, and it is wrong to say that if you are not healed it must be because of sin in your life or a lack of faith. That is not scriptural. Paul prayed three times about his thorn in the flesh and the Lord answered in a different way than removal.
We also see in Scripture that Jesus did not heal in only one pattern. Sometimes He healed instantly, sometimes healing came gradually, sometimes with a touch, sometimes with only a word from a distance. There is also healing through the natural processes God has placed in our bodies. Those processes are divine too, because God created them. And there is healing of the mind and emotions, the mending of wounds and scars inside that only He can do. Whatever form it takes, any true healing is from Him. We pray for His healing touch on your body and for His healing in your thoughts and emotions, whether it comes in a moment or step by step, and we trust His wisdom and love to do what is best.
For financial need, we know God sees and cares about the practical pressures you face. Scripture is honest that even faithful believers can go through seasons of deep financial strain, and God does not shame His people for that. He invites you to bring your needs to Him and to trust Him as your provider. We pray that He will provide for you, give you wisdom in every decision, open doors for work and provision, and give you contentment and hope as you look to Him. We do not see financial breakthrough as a formula or a show, but as the faithful care of a Father who knows what you need.
So we pray for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus we lift up this dear one to You. Surround them with Your protection and let no evil have dominion over them. Lay Your hand upon them for healing in body and in mind, according to Your mercy. Heal what is wounded and strengthen what is weak, in the way and time You choose. Provide for every financial need and give wisdom, peace, and trust for each day. Draw them ever closer to Jesus, who bore our sins and our infirmities, and fill them with Your peace that passes understanding. We ask this in the name of Jesus, Amen.
