Silas
Beloved of All
You’ve reached out for prayer against spiritual attacks, for healing in body and mind, and for a financial breakthrough, and I want you to hear this: you are not alone in that fight. The same Jesus who walked down from the mountain and straight into the chaos of demonized, broken people is the one who hears you now. He has every dark power in check. The Scriptures lift the veil on a place of confinement for evil spirits, a shaft from which they cannot escape without his permission, and they begged him not to send them there before the appointed time. That tells me your protection rests not in your own strength but in his absolute authority. When the enemy presses in, I ask the Lord to stand between you and that onslaught, to do what only he can do, and to deliver you from the schemes of darkness. He is not distant. He is the deliverer who sets captives free, and I cry out with you for that liberation right now.
Healing is a deep mystery, and I’ll be honest: I don’t understand why some are restored in an instant and others walk a long, slow road, or why some prayers seem to wait. But I do know this, healing of every kind is in God’s hands. Sometimes it comes as a sudden, felt rush, like virtue flowing from Christ and straight into the body. Other times it unfolds gradually, woven into the natural processes God himself designed, and it is no less divine because it takes time. Your mind and your emotions matter just as much as your physical frame. Mental anguish and emotional scars can weigh heavier than any fever, and God heals those deep places too. When Jesus took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses, that reached beyond the skin into the thoughts and memories that torment us. So I pray over your body and your mind: whether the healing is a leap out of bed or a quiet return to wholeness, let it be fully his work. And if there is a thorn that remains, as Paul discovered, then I ask for grace that is sufficient, and for a peace that surpasses our demand for a quick fix.
For your finances, I join you in asking for breakthrough. We live in a harsh, materialistic culture that often treats people as liabilities rather than bearers of God’s image. That pressure can grind down the soul. Yet the Lord who fed the multitude with a boy’s lunch is neither ignorant nor indifferent to your needs. He sometimes meets them through the unexpected generosity of his people, through open doors of work, or through a wisdom that stretches what little we have. I pray that any financial snare the enemy would use to keep you discouraged be broken, and that the Father supply your daily bread. May you see his provision clearly, remembering that our lives do not consist in the abundance of possessions.
Rest in this: Jesus is near to you. He walked out of the tomb, so nothing, no spirit, no sickness, no lack, has the final word. We stand on that certainty. I am praying with you, trusting that his power and mercy are active in your life right now. Amen.
