We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this earnest plea for protection, healing, and provision. First and foremost, we rejoice that this request is made in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can approach the Father. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). It is through His shed blood on the cross that we have boldness to enter into God’s presence, and we stand firm in that truth today.
Father God, we recognize the reality of spiritual warfare, for Your Word declares, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12). We rebuke every assignment of the enemy aimed at stealing, killing, or destroying this precious life. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We put on the full armor of God, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word (Ephesians 6:13-17). We plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, body, and spirit, and we command every spirit of fear, oppression, sickness, and lack to flee in Jesus’ name.
Lord, we cry out for healing in body and mind. Your Word promises, "He himself took our infirmities and bore our diseases" (Matthew 8:17). We believe that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We ask You to touch every area of sickness, pain, or infirmity and bring restoration. For the mind, we pray against anxiety, depression, or any tormenting thoughts. Renew their mind with Your truth, Lord, for "the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:7). We declare that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that You have plans for their welfare, not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
Father, we also lift up the need for financial breakthrough. Your Word assures us that You will supply every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We rebuke the spirit of lack and poverty, for You came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We ask for wisdom in managing resources, for open doors of opportunity, and for favor in the eyes of those who can provide. Teach them to trust in You, for "the blessing of Yahweh makes rich, and he adds no sorrow with it" (Proverbs 10:22). We declare that they are not a borrower but a lender, and they will be the head and not the tail (Deuteronomy 28:12-13).
We also want to gently encourage a heart of thanksgiving and praise, even in the midst of the battle. "In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you" (1 Thessalonians 5:18). Praise is a powerful weapon, for as we magnify You, our problems grow smaller in comparison. We declare that this is not a time to shrink back in fear but to stand firm in faith, knowing that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun (Philippians 1:6).
Finally, we pray for a deeper intimacy with You, Lord. Draw them closer to Your heart, that they may know You more and walk in the fullness of Your promises. May they seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, and all these things will be added to them (Matthew 6:33). We stand in agreement with this prayer, believing that You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect will.

Though spiritual attacks assail you with arrows sharpened in hell’s own forge, the Lord is your shield; He has broken the bow and cut the spear in sunder. As Israel sang at the water’s edge when Pharaoh’s host were drowned, so shall you yet lift up a song of deliverance. The Lamb who was slain has spoiled principalities and powers, making a show of them openly, and you are hidden in the clefts of that Rock. Cry to Him, and He shall rebuke the devourer for your sake. He will compass you about with songs of deliverance, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper, for your righteousness is of Him.
For the healing your body and mind so greatly need, fix your gaze upon the leaves of the tree which are for the healing of the nations. The least word from Christ, the very edge of His garment, is medicine to a sick soul. When the Lord pardons a man, He heals him; the root of bitterness being gone, the evil fruit withers. Though you be chastened sorely, the rod is in a Father’s hand, and it shall not smite you unto destruction. He wounds that He might bind up; He makes sore and then He pours in the oil and wine of His grace. Wait upon the teaching of the Great Physician, for when He speaks, the power of the Lord is present to heal. The Sun of Righteousness shall dawn upon your spirit’s midnight, and in His wings shall be all the balm you crave.
And as for your lack of temporal supply, be not faithless but believing. When the Lord brought forth His Israel from bondage, He gave them favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they went out with silver and gold. Their deliverance was of free grace, and so shall their enrichment be His gift, not their own arm’s achievement. The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof; He clothes the lilies and feeds the ravens, and shall He not provide for you, O ye of little faith? You ask for protection from spiritual attacks, healing of body and mind, and financial breakthrough. But consider: do you not hear the word of God as if He Himself were speaking? The greatest armor against unseen foes is a soul vigilant in careful hearing and constant recollection. For a man with golden armor passes through a river of fire and emerges brighter; but if he carries hay, he is destroyed. So it is with our works. When trials come, and they will, your security rests not on absence of conflict, but on the fortitude that virtue builds.
As for healing, know that many sicknesses spring from the soul’s disorder. Wanton behavior comes from want of love, and a heart untended by the word breeds passions that trouble both mind and body. Let long-suffering, goodness, and freedom from envy take root. Then, even if insults, loss, or pain assail you, you will possess the serenity of angels. True medicine is to extirpate vice and cultivate love; this uproots the very cause of much that afflicts you.
You pray for financial breakthrough. But liberty is found in release from bondage, not only to riches, but to anxiety about them. He who commands the wind, whose ways you cannot track, knows your needs. Why then be over-anxious? The desire for wealth often enslaves, while the Lord’s command is easy and light. It is right to bring these needs before the Lord, because He cares about every part of your life, your safety, your body, your mind, and your provision. The Scriptures show us a Savior who healed all manner of sickness and disease, and who held absolute authority over every evil spirit. That same power is still at work today. When you feel pressed by spiritual attacks, remember that the enemy is a defeated foe. Jesus commanded the dark powers and they obeyed Him. Fear and dread will fall upon those forces as you stand in His name. Cry out to Him for deliverance, and trust that He can bring you out of any trap, making a way where there seems to be no way at all.
Healing is a profound mystery, and I do not pretend to understand all of it. We see in the ministry of Jesus that sometimes healing came instantly with a word, other times it unfolded gradually. One man’s sight returned in stages; another was sent home to find himself whole along the road. All healing is ultimately divine, whether it comes through the miraculous or through the natural processes God designed for our bodies. And that includes the healing of the mind, the mending of emotional scars and inner wounds. There is a real connection between the state of your soul and your physical well-being. While we must never turn a personal greeting in a letter into a blanket promise that every believer will always be healthy and wealthy, it remains true that a soul that prospers in the Lord often brings a measure of wholeness to the rest of life. So continue to pray for healing, but do not fall into the trap of thinking that if you are not instantly well you must lack faith or harbor secret sin. The apostle Paul pleaded three times for his thorn to be removed, and yet God’s answer was to give grace sufficient for the trial, not an immediate removal. Sometimes deliverance comes through the very thing we dread, through death itself, as Paul wrote, which for the believer is simply untying the rope and setting sail into eternal glory. Not everybody is healed in this life, and we must rest that answer, too, in the hands of our wise Father.
As for the financial breakthrough you seek, the same God who opened the Red Sea and brought His people out of an impossible corner delights in providing for His children. He does not guarantee riches, and we must be careful in a materialistic culture not to reduce faith to a transaction. Yet He invites us to ask for our daily bread. He may lead you through a season of tightening, or He may suddenly open a door you never expected. Look for His hand in both. And while you wait, use whatever wisdom He has already given. Just as the law contained practical health codes for the well-being of Israel, cleanliness, proper diet, rest, so there are principles of diligence and stewardship that apply to our finances. Doing what is wise does not cancel out trust; it honors the order God set in creation.
So I will pray with you for protection, for healing in body and mind, and for a breakthrough in your finances. May the Lord rebuke every spiritual assault and grant you His peace.
