Silas
Beloved of All
The fight you are describing is a spiritual one, and it demands spiritual weapons. The enemy cannot touch your spirit because you are hidden in Christ, but he will press hard against your mind. That is where the attacks come: whispers of fear, doubt, and lies about your health, your worth, or your provision. When those thoughts flood in, remember that you do not have to live harassed. God has given you His living Word, your faith, and prayer. Those are not mere rituals; they are the means by which you take every thought captive. Rather than letting the questions “Is God really here? Does He see?” take root, answer them with the truth of Scripture. Speak it aloud. Faith rises when you refuse to let the enemy’s narrative control your inner conversation. You are not fighting for a victory that is already won, you are standing in it.
You also mentioned healing in your body and mind. Too often, the body’s demands and the world’s pressures push their way to the front, filling your mind with distress and leaving you exhausted. But God originally designed us a different way: spirit uppermost, then mind, then body. Through your new birth, your spirit is alive, and He intends for it to lead. When your mind is ruled by the body’s clamoring, you experience what Scripture calls the “mind of the flesh”, a consciousness disconnected from the life of God and prone to death in every area. That is not your portion. Instead, present your body to the Lord as a living sacrifice, and let your mind be renewed day by day. As you yield to the Spirit, your thoughts are gradually realigned with God’s thoughts, and that alignment releases His peace. This is not a one-time fix; it is a daily turning. But in that turning, He often brings wholeness to the places that have been broken.
The concern for a financial breakthrough fits into the same pattern. The mind of the flesh is constantly obsessed with physical needs, and that obsession breeds anxiety. The mind of the Spirit, however, rests in the Father’s care. I am not telling you to ignore practical diligence, but I am urging you not to be conformed to the restless fear of this age. As you renew your mind in His presence, He will show you the good and acceptable and perfect path, including His provision. You are not built to carry this alone. You are a vital member of a living body, and when one part suffers, the whole body feels it. Let trusted brothers and sisters stand with you in prayer and in tangible support, because none of us are whole without the others. In the unity of that spiritual family, God often moves in ways you could never manufacture on your own. Rest in the truth that with your mind you can serve the law of God even while you are still in this body, and there is no condemnation for you in Christ Jesus.
