We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for protection, healing, and provision. Father God, we recognize that the enemy prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour, but we stand firm in the victory of Jesus Christ, who has already triumphed over all principalities and powers. The Bible assures us in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." We take up the full armor of God, truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and Your Word, so that we may stand firm against every scheme of the devil.
Heavenly Father, we rebuke every spiritual attack aimed at this dear one. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, for You have said in Isaiah 54:17, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from me." We bind every spirit of fear, confusion, oppression, and torment in the mighty name of Jesus. We loose the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Lord, we also lift up their need for healing in body and mind. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise the Lord, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We ask for Your healing touch to restore every part of their being, mind, body, and spirit. If there is any unforgiveness, bitterness, or unconfessed sin that may be hindering their healing, we pray for conviction and repentance, for You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Strengthen their faith to trust in Your promises, knowing that by Your stripes, they are healed.
Father, we also bring their financial struggles before You. You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides, and we trust in Your promise in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We rebuke the spirit of lack and poverty, declaring that the windows of heaven are open over their life. We pray for wisdom in stewardship, for opportunities to arise, and for doors to open that no man can shut. Help them to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added unto them. We ask for a breakthrough in their finances, not for greed or selfish gain, but so that they may be a testimony of Your faithfulness and a blessing to others.
Lord, we also want to gently remind this dear one that their faith must be firmly rooted in Jesus Christ alone. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If they have not yet surrendered their life to Jesus, we pray that the Holy Spirit would draw them near, that they would confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that God raised Him from the dead. For it is written in Romans 10:9, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
We stand in agreement with this prayer, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. We thank You for Your faithfulness, for Your love that never fails, and for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. We declare that this one is more than a conqueror through Him who loved them. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them see Your hand moving in every area of their life. We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
