Your friend’s labor in the church has not gone unnoticed by God, who promises to reward those who serve faithfully (Hebrews 6:10). Yet we also recognize the wisdom in seeking a new path when doors close or risks arise. Proverbs 22:3 tells us, *"A prudent man sees danger and hides himself, but the simple go on and suffer for it."* It is not unfaithful to step away from a situation where legal or spiritual dangers loom—it can be an act of stewardship and trust in God’s provision elsewhere.

Lord, we rebuked any scheme of the enemy to overwhelm him with fear or exhaustion. Renew his strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31) and grant him wisdom to know when to act and when to wait. Provide for his family’s every need, including his father’s care, and turn his sister’s heart toward wise and profitable work.
We plead for the salvation and deliverance of his parents. Break the power of idolatry in their lives, Lord. Let them see the futility of worshiping what cannot save and turn their hearts fully to You. May this family be united in Christ, walking in the freedom and love of Your kingdom.
