We join you in the mighty name of Jesus and stand with you in prayer for protection over you, your marriage, and your precious little girls from household wickedness, manipulation, control, and deception.

We hear your heart crying out for God to expose hidden agendas, to break chains of emotional and spiritual bondage, and to restore peace and joy in your marriage. We agree with you that marriage is a holy covenant ordained by God between a man and a woman, and we pray that the Lord will guard and strengthen your marital joy and unity against every attempt to steal, distort, or undermine it. What God has joined together, let no one separate, and we pray that your home will be a place of truth, love, and peace.

Scripture reminds us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. Therefore we do not wrestle with people alone, but we take our stand in Christ. We take comfort that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17, and that the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one 2 Thessalonians 3:3. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty Psalm 91:1, and we pray that shadow covers you and your family.

We also remember that God calls us to walk in both truth and love, to put on the whole armor of God, and to resist the devil while trusting God to fight for us. Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7. We encourage you to daily put on that armor with prayer, the Word, and obedience, to guard your mind and heart from confusion, doubt, and fear. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7.

We must also gently encourage you, even as you rightly bind the lies, pride, and jealousy and pray against toxic words, to guard your own heart from bitterness and to leave vengeance in the hands of the Lord. Jesus teaches us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us Matthew 5:44, not to excuse wicked behavior but to keep our hearts free and to trust God as the righteous judge. Avenge not yourselves, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19. This does not mean remaining in harm’s way without wisdom or boundaries, we encourage you to seek godly counsel from a trusted pastor or mature believers, to establish healthy, biblical boundaries, and to protect your children with discernment and grace.

We now pray together.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and lift up our sister, her marriage, and her little girls to You. Lord, You see every hidden agenda, every jealous and prideful scheme, and every toxic word spoken against her. Expose what is done in darkness and bring it into Your light. Break every chain of emotional and spiritual bondage and shield her mind, heart, and spirit from confusion, doubt, and fear. Let Your truth guard her soul and restore her peace.

We ask that You surround this family with Your angels and Your presence, that You lead them away from every trap set by household enemies and envious persons. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be shown to be in the wrong. Fill her with Your strength to walk in freedom, confidence, and love, and to speak truth with grace. Heal any wounds in her marriage, renew marital joy, and let Your peace reign in their home. Help her to forgive as You have forgiven us Ephesians 4:32, while also walking in wisdom and discernment.

We declare that You are our refuge and fortress, and we place our full trust in You. Let Your Kingdom come and Your will be done in this family and in this home as it is in heaven. Fight for her, Lord, for with You all things are possible Matthew 19:26. We thank You for victory in Jesus, for You have overcome the world John 16:33. Keep these little girls in Your perfect care and let them grow in safety, joy, and the knowledge of Your love.

We ask all of this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Defender, amen.

We have been praying with you as you carry this weight for your marriage and your two little girls. Wanting to protect your peace, your home, and your sense of who you are when words and control have left you feeling confused and on edge is a heavy burden, and it makes sense you are asking God to be your shield.

When manipulation and demeaning patterns go on over time they can wear down confidence and make it hard to trust your own thoughts. It helps to have one safe person who can listen clearly and walk with you. If you have a trusted pastor, counselor, or advocate, consider reaching out to meet one on one to talk through what is happening at home, what boundaries would help, and what a simple safety plan could look like for you and your daughters. You do not have to sort all of this alone, and having that outside perspective can bring steadiness while you seek wisdom for next steps.

We are also praying for your girls, that God would surround your home with calm and protection.

Father, we bring this family to You in Jesus name. Guard their minds and hearts, quiet fear and confusion, and give wisdom for each decision. Protect this marriage and these little girls, lead them away from harm, and restore peace in their home. Give strength for today and clear direction for tomorrow. Amen.

Your prayer has risen before the Lord and He is not deaf to the cry of those who seek shelter under His wings. You have done well to come in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we may approach the throne, and no other Lamb by whom our souls may be joined to God.

You ask for protection for your marriage and your little ones from manipulation and deception, and for peace to reign in your home. Know this, that marriage as God ordained it is a covenant of choice, not of compulsion, and its crown is mutual delight and complacency. It is a solemn vow to have and to hold from this day forward, for better for worse, and death itself shall not part those whom God has joined. When that holy bond is assailed by pride, by lies, by jealousy and by toxic words, the enemy seeks to steal what God has called good. But the Lord has declared that He will break down everything which sets itself up in opposition to Him, and He casts down the mighty from their seats while He lifts up the poor. No weapon formed against those who walk in His appointed ways shall prosper, for His protection is both personal and perpetual.

You ask that hidden agendas be exposed and that chains of confusion, doubt and fear be broken. This is the very liberty which the Spirit gives, for the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus makes us free from the law of sin and death. It is not merely knowledge of His will, but power to carry out that will which comes from Him alone. He leads His people not only by guidance but by drawing, onward and upward, from darkness into light, from self to the Savior. As you keep close to Him, you will find that no real injury comes to those who keep themselves aloof from the ways of ungodly men and who walk in close and intimate fellowship with God. There is the way of separation and the way of communion, and in that communion you find your safety. The Psalmist promises that He shall give His angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways, when you do not move from willfulness but abide where Providence has placed you.

For your family, remember that family piety is nourished by family prayer. When Noah entered the ark, he found all his pleasure and all his fellowship inside with the Lord, and his whole household was saved with him. So let your home be as an ark, where your fellowship is in connection with the Lord Jesus Christ. Let the Word be searched daily, let prayer be constant, and let any idol or teraph that would bring superstition or strife be put away as Jacob cleansed his household at Bethel. The whole family in heaven and earth is one in Christ, and death and division cannot separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Let us pray with you.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Your Son, the Lamb who was slain and who now rejoices over His people with singing, we ask You to surround this dear soul, this marriage and these precious children with Your protection. Expose what is hidden, break every chain of bondage, and shield mind and heart and spirit from confusion and fear. Guard this home with Your truth, restore peace where there has been turmoil, and let Your kingdom come and Your will be done in this family as it is in heaven. Teach them to walk in the liberty of Your Spirit, to abide in Your appointed ways, and to find all their consolation at the wellhead of Your grace. Fight for them, O Lord, for with You all things are possible, and keep them till that great day when the marriage supper of the Lamb shall be come and all Your redeemed shall be gathered home. In the name of Jesus we ask it, Amen.
