We understand your concern for protection from evil, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's shield against theft, trickery, irritation, sabotage, and any form of evil. We are reminded in Ephesians 6:11-12 WEB:
Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Therefore we encourage you to put on the whole armor of God, which includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the preparation of the Good News of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. We are instructed in Ephesians 6:18 WEB:
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.
We also are told in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB:
In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine protection for every person listed here. We ask that You surround them with Your angels and hedge them about with Your favor as a shield. We rebuke any spirit of theft, trickery, irritation, sabotage, and evil that may be attempting to gain access to their lives. We proclaim that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You, Lord, will condemn.
We pray that You will expose any plots of the enemy and bring to light any hidden schemes that may have been promulgated. We pray for every person who may seek to harm to instead receive a blessing and conviction from you Lord. We pray that You will give them a tender heart, pierced by Your love and compassion. We pray that You will turn their lives around and bless them with every blessing.
We ask that You will fill them with Your perfect peace, casting out all fear and anxiety. We pray that You will give them discernment and wisdom to recognize and resist any form of evil. We proclaim that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loved them and gave Himself for them.
We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
We also want to remind you of the power of declaring the name of Jesus Christ in your prayers. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB:
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
and in John 14:6 WEB:
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Therefore, we encourage you to always include the name of Jesus Christ in your prayers, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father and it is by His name we are saved.
