Guard Us by The Word, Prayer, Preaching, Teaching, Fellowship, Breaking of Bread, Corporate Prayer, Acts 2:42 -- Father in Heaven -- Thank You for Your light and truth, Ps 43:3, allowing us to understand and believe in Christ, Matt 11:25, Matt 16:17, 1 Cor 1:30, and for faith in the blood of Jesus Christ Your Son, Rom 3:25, which cleanses us from all sin, 1 Jn 1:7. Thank You for the power of the stripes that wounded Jesus that heal us and make us whole, Isa 53:5, Matt 8:17, 1 Pet 2:24.

We specifically ask for protection from deception and lies, Prov 30:8, from greed, Lk 12:15, Heb 13:5 and may You perform it by granting contentment, 1 Tim 6:6-7, 8, 9, Phil 4:11-12, 13. Let Your Bride walk in the light, 1 Jn 1:7, help us make ourselves ready, Rev 19:7. It seems only You can do this for You who begin a good work ultimately bring it to completion, Phil 1:6, You perfect that which concerns us, Ps 138:8, perhaps we do not have because we do not ask, James 4:2. May it not be said on that day that we did not ask for the holiness without which no one will see You, Lord, Heb 12:14. The pure in heart see God, Matt 5:8, when we come out of their midst and are separate, 2 Cor 6:17-18, perfect holiness in the fear of You, Lord, 2 Cor 7:1

Protect us all from sin, Zeph 3:13, Ps 119:11, Rev 14:5, let us not enter into temptation, Mk 14:38, Lk 11:4, keep us from the evil one, John 17:15, and keep us on Your path of increasing clarity, Prov 4:18, Col 1:9. Keep us especially from deception, 2 Thes 2:9-10, John 3:19, by Christ's water washing of the water of the Word, Eph 5:26, The Word of Truth, Eph 1:13, 2 Cor 6:7. Sanctify us in Your Truth, Your Word is Truth, John 17:17, James 1:18.

Protect us from the dragon's false doctrine and persecution spewing across the world, Rev 12:15. Help restrain these evils, 2 Thes 2:7, and use godly government to restrain and punish evil, 1 Tim 2:1-2, 3, 4; Rev 12:16, Rom 13:1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7. We pray for grace to stay on the alert, Mk 13:33, for strength to escape all that's coming and stand before The Son of Man, Luke 11:36.

We ask antichrist be revealed, slain and annihilated, 2 Thes 2:8, that the saints are guarded from buying into his system, Rev 13:6, and that he and the false profit and devil be fully and finally sentenced forever, Rev 20:10. May we fear you, Ecc 12:13, Rev 14:6-7, be wise and win souls, Prov 11:30, leading many to righteousness, Dan 12:3, and instrucing many, Mal 2:5, 6, Matt 28:20.

With thanksgiving we offer these requests for ourselves, our family, friends, church-mates, pastors and online praying believer-friends, Heb 10:25, so we have fellowship, 1 Jn 1:3, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, and may the peace of God guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7, Amen, Rev 3:14, 2 Cor 1:20.

We come before You, Father in Heaven, with hearts full of gratitude for Your light and truth, which guide us into understanding and belief in Christ Jesus. We thank You for the faith we have in the blood of Your Son, which cleanses us from all sin, and for the healing power of His stripes that make us whole. Your Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path, and we cling to it as our sure foundation in these times of deception and confusion.

We stand together, lifting up our voices in prayer for protection from the snares of the evil one. The Scriptures warn us that the coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. Lord, guard our hearts and minds from such deception. Sanctify us in Your truth, for Your Word is truth. We ask that You would wash us with the water of Your Word, that we may be cleansed and made holy, set apart for Your purposes.

Father, we pray for contentment in all circumstances, that we may not fall into the trap of greed, which is idolatry. Help us to be satisfied with what we have, for You have said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." Let us seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things shall be added to us. May we walk in the light as You are in the light, having fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ Your Son cleansing us from all sin.

We lift up our families, friends, church-mates, pastors, and all who join us in prayer, both near and far. Protect us from sin, and let us not enter into temptation. Keep us from the evil one, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. We ask that You would keep us on the path of increasing clarity, that the eyes of our understanding may be enlightened, that we may know what is the hope of Your calling, what are the riches of the glory of Your inheritance in the saints.

Lord, we pray for the restraint of evil in this world. We ask that You would use godly government to restrain and punish wickedness, that we may lead quiet and peaceable lives in all godliness and reverence. We pray for grace to stay alert, watching and praying always, that we may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.

We plead with You to reveal and defeat the spirit of antichrist, that the man of sin may be consumed by the breath of Your mouth and destroyed by the brightness of Your coming. Guard the saints from buying into his deceitful system, and let the dragon, the false prophet, and the devil be cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Father, instill in us a holy fear of You, that we may walk in wisdom and win souls for Your kingdom. Let us lead many to righteousness, shining as the brightness of the firmament and as the stars forever and ever. May we instruct many in Your ways, making disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that You have commanded us.

We offer these prayers with thanksgiving, trusting in Your promises, for all the promises of God in Christ are "Yes" and in Him "Amen," to the glory of God through us. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Abba Father, My God and Creator, I ask You in Jesus' name, fix me. Fix me for Your glory. All the areas in my life that I need to let go of or surrender to You, walk me through it, talk me through it. Walk me back through my past and do the inner healing that is needed in my life.
