We hear your cry for protection and stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting up your son before the throne of grace. The Lord is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We declare that no weapon formed against your son shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, he shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every spirit of violence, oppression, and fear in the mighty name of Jesus and command it to flee.
Father God, we ask You to surround your son with Your holy angels, that they may encamp around him and deliver him from all harm (Psalm 91:11). Give him courage and strength to endure, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray for wisdom and discernment for those in authority over him, that they may recognize the abuse and act justly to protect the vulnerable. Let Your justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like a mighty stream (Amos 5:24).
We also lift up those who are perpetrating this abuse. Lord, we ask that You break the chains of darkness in their lives, convict their hearts, and lead them to repentance. Soften their hearts to receive Your love and truth, that they may turn from their wicked ways (Ezekiel 36:26). If they refuse to repent, we pray that You would restrain them and prevent them from causing further harm.
Heavenly Father, we know that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Comfort your son in his distress and remind him that he is never alone, for You are with him always (Matthew 28:20). Strengthen his faith and fill him with hope, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
We pray for healing and restoration, both physically and emotionally. Pour out Your Holy Spirit upon him, that he may experience Your love and peace in a tangible way. Help him to forgive those who have wronged him, even as You have forgiven us (Colossians 3:13). Let Your light shine in the darkness, and may Your glory be revealed in this situation.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
