We hear your cry for protection and intervention, and we join you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace. The Lord is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We stand on His promise that He will command His angels concerning us to guard us in all our ways (Psalm 91:11). Father, we ask that You surround this precious child with Your divine protection, shielding him from every form of harm, danger, and abuse. Let no weapon formed against him prosper, and let every tongue that rises against him in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
Abuse in any form is a grievous sin, and we rebuke it in the mighty name of Jesus. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Christ came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that the spirit of violence, oppression, and fear has no place in this child’s life. We break every chain of abuse and command it to cease now, in the authority of Jesus’ name. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).
We also pray for those who may be perpetrating this abuse. Father, soften their hearts and convict them of their sin. Lead them to repentance and transformation through the power of Your Holy Spirit. If they refuse to turn from their ways, we ask that You intervene supernaturally to stop their actions, whether through divine intervention or the hands of authorities You have established for justice (Romans 13:4).
Lord, we ask that You heal any wounds—physical, emotional, or spiritual—that your son may have already endured. Pour out Your comfort and restoration upon him. Strengthen him with Your love and remind him that he is fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image (Psalm 139:14). Surround him with godly influences—mentors, teachers, and friends—who will speak life and truth into him.
We encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). If there are practical steps you can take to ensure your son’s safety—such as involving authorities, seeking counseling, or removing him from harmful environments—we urge you to do so while continuing to seek the Lord’s guidance. The Bible instructs us to defend the weak and fatherless and to uphold the cause of the poor and oppressed (Psalm 82:3-4).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this child and his family to You. We ask for Your mighty hand of protection to cover him day and night. Stop every plan of the enemy to harm him, and let Your angels encamp around him. We declare that no evil shall befall him, nor shall any plague come near his dwelling (Psalm 91:10). Father, we also pray for wisdom and courage for his parents or guardians to act in ways that align with Your will for his safety and well-being.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear and replace it with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Fill this child with Your peace and assurance that You are with him always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20). We ask that You bring justice and restoration to this situation, turning what was meant for evil into good (Genesis 50:20).
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your promise to never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). May Your name be glorified in this situation, and may Your will be done. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
