We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's intervention and protection for your son. Let's come together and petition the Lord for his safety and the cessation of the abuse he is facing, as well as for the protection of others who may be suffering similarly. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can approach God.
The Bible tells us that God is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble (Psalm 9:9, WEB). We can trust in Him to be a shield for your son, keeping him from harm and danger. As it says in Psalm 91:11-12, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won't dash your foot against a stone."
Let us also remember the words of Isaiah 41:10, "Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."
We must also address the abuse and pray for the abuser. It is clear that God hates such actions. Colossians 3:19 tells us, "Husbands, love your wives, and don't be bitter against them." Ephesians 6:4 says, "Fathers, don't provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord." We pray that the abuser would repent and turn to God.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this beloved son to You. We ask that You surround him with Your angels, protecting him from all harm and danger. Put an end to the abuse, Lord, and bring conviction to the abuser. Change their heart, Lord, and draw them to Yourself.
We also pray for comfort and healing for your son, as well as for others who may be affected by this abuse. Show them Your love and faithfulness, and bring them through this trial with a stronger faith and a deeper knowledge of Your goodness.
Lastly, we pray for wisdom and guidance for the authorities involved. Give them discernment to handle the situation with justice and mercy, and to provide a safe environment for your son and others.
Remember, as Christians, we are called to stand against evil and injustice. We encourage you to seek help from local authorities and support organizations, as well as from your church community. Trust in God, and He will guide you through this difficult time and go with you.
