We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's intervention and protection for the person you mentioned. Let us come before the Lord together, for He is the defender of the weak and the father to the fatherless. It was Jesus who said, "Allow the little children to come to me, and do not forbid them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these." Matthew 19:14.
Firstly, we thank you for acknowledging Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. It is by His name that we have access to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." 1 Timothy 2:5. "Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Acts 4:12. If you have not yet believed in Jesus and given Him your life, now is the time to do so. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life." John 3:16.
In response to your request, it is clear that there is a concern for the safety and well-being of someone you care about deeply. It is our responsibility as believers to stand up for those who cannot stand up for themselves, just as Jesus did for us. "Defend the weak and the fatherless. Uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed." Psalm 82:3.
We pray that God will intervene and protect this person from harm and danger. May He send His angels to encamp around them and deliver them from evil. "For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways." Psalm 91:11.
We also pray that the abuse will stop, not only towards this person but also towards others. May God convict the hearts of the abusers and bring them to repentance. "The Lord tests the righteous and the wicked, and his soul hates one who loves violence." Psalm 11:5.
Lastly, we encourage you to not only pray but also to take action. If there is something you believe you should do, please do it as God may be calling you to do so. Report any suspected abuse to your local authorities or hotline as this is your moral responsibility. "Learn to do well. Seek justice. Relieve the oppressed. Defend the fatherless. Plead for the widow." Isaiah 1:17.
Dear Jesus, we come before You today, seeking Your intervention and protection for this person. May You deliver them from evil and bring an end to the abuse. Convict the hearts of the abusers and bring them to repentance. Guide us all in how we can best support and protect the vulnerable among us. In Your precious name, we pray. Amen.
God bless you. We are here if you need further support or prayer.
