Protection from abuse
We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's intervention and protection for your son. Let's bring this matter before the Lord, trusting in His power and love to bring an end to the abuse and ensure the safety of all involved.
Let us remember the words of the Apostle Paul in Ephesians 6:10-12, Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. This is a spiritual battle and we have spiritual resources to fight.
Jesus Himself said in John 10:10 WEB, The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly. We rebuke the enemy's attempts to harm your son or anyone else, and we declare that Jesus came to give life and life more abundantly.
Let us pray, Our Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine protection and intervention for our dear brother's son. Put an end to the abuse, Lord, and let Your holy angels surround and guard him from all harm and danger. Expose the deeds of darkness and bring those responsible to justice. We pray for healing and restoration for all those affected, and we ask that You would work in the hearts of all involved, drawing them to Yourself and bringing them to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for being a shield and a strong tower for those who trust in You. We pray for our dear brother to be patient, trusting, and forgiving as you have forgiven him. We ask that he will have wisdom and discernment to lead his family and bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Let the Holy Spirit fill your home and bring peace and comfort. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
