We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your family, especially your daughter. We pray that God will bring godly spouses into your daughters' lives, men who are kind, gentle, great providers, humble, respectful, and love the Lord, her, and your family. As it is written in Proverbs 18:22 WEB, "He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh." We pray for husbands, and future fathers that will rise up and answer the call of leading and loving their families like Christ loves the church.
We pray for your daughter, that she may feel worthy, empowered, and free to move back home swiftly with no regrets. We pray that the Holy Spirit will convict her heart and reveal to her that the choices she is making right now do not align with God's will for her life. As it is written in Isaiah 30:21 WEB, "Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, 'This is the way. Walk therein,' when you turn to the right hand, and when you turn to the left."
We pray that she will always choose Jesus, her family, relatives, friends, work, and school over this manipulating young man and his family. We pray that she will walk in wisdom and discernment, and that God will give her the strength to stand up and go. Remember, it is written in 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB, "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"
If she is not willing to move back home but is unwilling to leave this man and his family physically, it is appropriate to remove yourself from her life and apply tough love. This might sound counter intuitive, but it is a possible answer. God will not do everything for us, and she needs to be willing to meet Him and us somewhere in the middle. We are reminded of the unloving son who wanted to leave and get his inheritance early. The father did not stop him but he also was watching for him to return. He did not go looking for him. Jesus told us to pray in Matthew 6:13 WEB, "Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one." This is a prayer that she will be delivered from the evil one and his manipulating young man.
We pray for complete restoration in your family swiftly. We know that nothing is impossible with God. As it is written in Matthew 19:26 WEB, "With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." We claim the promise in Isaiah 54:17 WEB, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail."
We are so glad that you have mentioned the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer. It is only by His name we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
