We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious nine-year-old daughter who is caught in a situation no child should ever endure. Father God, we cry out for Your divine protection over her—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. The abuse and toxicity she faces are an abomination in Your sight, and we stand in the gap, asking You to shield her from every form of harm. *"The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower"* (Psalm 18:2). Lord, be her refuge and strength in this storm.
We also pray for godly justice in this situation. The courts of man may move slowly, but You are the ultimate Judge, and Your timing is perfect. We ask that You intervene in the legal process, softening hearts, opening doors, and granting favor to this father as he seeks custody. *"The king’s heart is in the Lord’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires"* (Proverbs 21:1). May the authorities involved be guided by Your wisdom and righteousness.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of anger, bitterness, and evil that has taken root in this mother’s heart. We know that *"a man’s heart plans his course, but the Lord directs his steps"* (Proverbs 16:9). If there is any hope for redemption in her life, we pray for conviction, repentance, and transformation. But if she remains hardened, we ask that You remove her influence from this child’s life in a way that aligns with Your will. *"Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good"* (Romans 12:21).
We also lift up this father, who is fighting for his daughter’s well-being. Strengthen him, Lord, in his faith, his resolve, and his actions. Give him wisdom in every decision, patience in the waiting, and peace that surpasses understanding. *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths"* (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Most of all, we pray for this little girl’s heart. Let her know she is deeply loved—not just by her earthly father, but by her Heavenly Father. Surround her with godly influences, whether through family, church, or mentors, who can speak truth and love into her life. May she grow in the knowledge of Your grace and find her identity in Christ. *"See how great a love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God!"* (1 John 3:1).
We declare that no weapon formed against this child shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We bind every spirit of fear, trauma, and confusion, and we loose Your peace, healing, and restoration over her life. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, believing that You are working all things together for good—for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Amen.
