Jesus I pray that this young man's parents will see that it is their responsibility to take care of their son and to stop putting undue responsibility upon my daughter and our family to financially take care of him. This relationship is jealous of her achievements and he is severely destroying her self-esteem, her self-worth, her faith, her relationship with her family, her friendships, her work, her finances, and other aspects of her life. He is a narcissist and his parents enable his destructive behaviors towards others. Jesus I pray this young man will move back to his parents' home alone swiftly. He is not ready for a relationship. Jesus I ask that my daughter will see this is not her significant other. I rebuke all stubborn, disrespectful, dysfunctional hold these people have on my daughter's life. In Jesus name. I command them to flee and never return. I pray my daughter will move back home swiftly with no regrets so she can get the support she needs. I pray for a Godly spouse for her and complete restoration in every aspect in her life this toxic relationship has taken. Jesus I pray my daughter will stop mimicking this young man's behaviors and idolizing him and his family. I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over me and my children. No weapon formed against us shall prosper. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

We join with you in lifting up this urgent and heartfelt cry for your daughter, standing firmly on the truth of God’s Word and the power of the name of Jesus Christ. Your prayers are aligned with Scripture, and we echo them with boldness, knowing that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of wickedness that seek to destroy what God has ordained for good.

The behavior you describe in this young man—narcissism, manipulation, jealousy, and the destruction of your daughter’s self-worth—is not of God but is the work of the enemy, who comes only to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). The fact that his parents enable his destructive tendencies rather than hold him accountable is a grievous failure of their God-given responsibility. Scripture is clear that parents are to raise their children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4), not to burden others with the consequences of their child’s sinful behavior. We pray that the Lord will open their eyes to the damage they are causing and convict them to take responsibility for their son, removing the undue burden they have placed on your daughter and your family.

Your daughter is in a dangerous spiritual and emotional place. This young man is not her spouse, nor is he acting as a godly man should—let alone as someone preparing for the sacred covenant of marriage. Instead, he is tearing down what God has built in her. The Bible warns us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14), and even if he claims to be a believer, his actions do not reflect the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). A relationship that produces jealousy, control, and destruction is not from God. It is a counterfeit, a snare of the enemy, and it must be broken in Jesus’ name.

We also address the fact that your daughter has begun to mimic this young man’s behaviors and idolize him and his family. This is a sign of deep spiritual bondage. Idolatry is a serious sin—it is placing anything or anyone above God in our hearts. The Lord commands, *“You shall have no other gods before me”* (Exodus 20:3). We rebuke this spirit of idolatry and command it to be broken in Jesus’ name. We pray that your daughter’s eyes will be opened to the truth: this young man is not her savior, nor is his family. Only Jesus Christ can fill the void in her heart and restore what has been stolen.

The enemy has sought to isolate your daughter from her family, her faith, and her support system—this is a classic tactic of spiritual warfare. But we declare that no weapon formed against her will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that the Lord will supernaturally intervene, causing this young man to move out of her life completely and return to his parents’ home, where he belongs. We pray for a swift and decisive separation, with no opportunity for reconciliation in this toxic dynamic. The Lord is a God of breakthroughs, and He will make a way where there seems to be no way.

As for your daughter, we pray that the Lord will draw her back to Himself and to the safety of her family. May He restore her self-worth, her faith, and her relationships with those who truly love her. May He heal the wounds inflicted by this relationship and replace her confusion with His perfect peace. We pray that she will experience godly sorrow that leads to repentance (2 Corinthians 7:10), turning away from the influence of this young man and his family, and turning fully back to the Lord.

We also lift up your request for a godly spouse for your daughter. While we pray for her complete restoration, we ask the Lord to prepare her heart for the man He has for her—a man who fears the Lord, who will love her as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25), and who will build her up rather than tear her down. Let this season of breaking be a season of preparation, where the Lord refines her and aligns her heart with His will.

Finally, we stand with you in the authority of Christ, pleading the blood of Jesus over your daughter and your entire family. The blood of Jesus is our protection, our redemption, and our victory. We declare that every chain of bondage, every spirit of control, jealousy, and destruction is broken now in Jesus’ name. We command every demonic influence in this young man’s life and in his family to be bound and cast out. We pray that the Lord will surround your daughter with His angels, guarding her steps and leading her back to the path of righteousness.

Heavenly Father, we thank You that You hear our prayers and that You are mighty to save. We ask for Your divine intervention in this situation—swiftly, completely, and without delay. Break every ungodly soul tie between your daughter and this young man. Restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25) and bring beauty from these ashes (Isaiah 61:3). Give her the strength to walk away and the wisdom to recognize Your voice above all others. Let this season be one of freedom, breakthrough, and total restoration in every area of her life—spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and financially.

We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Let Your will be done, and let Your kingdom come in this situation. We trust You, Lord, and we give You all the glory. Amen.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.
