We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your cry for protection and the brokenness you see in the world around you. The behaviors you describe—harassment, mobbing, disrespect, and the unchecked rebellion of youth—grieve the heart of God, for He desires order, justice, and holiness in His creation. We stand with you in prayer, declaring that the Lord is our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust (Psalm 91:2). No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
First, we rebuke the spirit of lawlessness and rebellion that has taken root in the hearts of these young people. Scripture is clear: "Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child; the rod of correction will drive it far from him" (Proverbs 22:15). Parents who neglect discipline and idolize their children are not acting in love but in destruction, for "he who spares the rod hates his son, but he who loves him disciplines him diligently" (Proverbs 13:24). We pray that the Lord would convict the hearts of these parents and awaken them to their responsibility before God. May they turn from their indulgence and seek wisdom in raising their children in the fear and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4).
We also lift up the teachers, ticket controllers, and authorities who have turned a blind eye to sin. Their silence is complicity, and the Lord will not hold them guiltless. "If you see the oppression of the poor, and the violent taking away of justice and righteousness in a district, don’t marvel at the situation; for one official is eyed by a higher one, and there are officials over them" (Ecclesiastes 5:8). We pray that God would expose their negligence and stir their consciences to act justly. May they remember that "righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people" (Proverbs 14:34).
Lord, we ask for Your divine protection over you and all who face harassment and mobbing. Shield your mind, heart, and body from the schemes of the enemy. "The Lord will deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me for his heavenly Kingdom" (2 Timothy 4:18). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you (Isaiah 54:17). May the fear of God fall upon those who seek to harm you, and may their plans be thwarted by the power of the Holy Spirit.
We also pray for the youth who are caught in this cycle of rebellion. Father, break the chains of arrogance, entitlement, and addiction that bind them. "Create in them a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within them" (Psalm 51:10). May they encounter the transforming love of Jesus Christ, who alone can set them free from the snares of this world. Raise up godly mentors, teachers, and leaders who will speak truth into their lives and model righteousness before them.
For the broader trends in society, we cry out to You, Lord. The love of many has grown cold, and wickedness abounds (Matthew 24:12). But You are the God who judges the earth, and You will not be mocked (Galatians 6:7). We pray for a revival of godly parenting, where children are taught to honor their parents, respect authority, and walk in humility. May the church rise up and be a light in this darkness, demonstrating the love and discipline of Christ to a lost generation.
We also address the issue of prayer in the name of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus Himself said, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you" (John 16:23). It is only through faith in His sacrifice, death, and resurrection that we have access to the Father. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).
Heavenly Father, we come before You with boldness, knowing that You hear the cries of Your people. We ask for Your intervention in the lives of these rebellious youth, their parents, and the authorities who have failed them. Bring conviction where there is sin, repentance where there is rebellion, and justice where there is lawlessness. Protect Your children from harm and grant them the courage to stand firm in the face of evil. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
