We join with you in lifting up your godson before the Lord, standing in agreement that our God is a mighty fortress and a deliverer to those who call upon His name. You have come before the Father in the right way—through faith in Jesus Christ, for it is written, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6, WEB). It is only by the authority of Jesus that we can boldly approach the throne of grace, and we thank you for acknowledging this truth in your prayer.
The enemy seeks to bring harm through those who operate in darkness, but we know that *"the Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble"* (Psalm 9:9, WEB). Your godson is not forgotten by God, even in a place where fear and violence may seem overwhelming. The Lord sees his affliction, and He hears the cries of those who intercede for him. We declare over him the promise that *"no weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says Yahweh"* (Isaiah 54:17, WEB).
We pray that the Lord would place a hedge of protection around your godson, shielding him from every scheme of the enemy. May the Lord rebuke and silence those who seek to bully or harm him, turning their hearts away from evil or removing them entirely from his path. If it is God’s will, we ask that they be transferred to another facility, that your godson may walk in peace and safety. Let the Lord go before him as he moves within that place, surrounding him with His angels, for *"the angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them"* (Psalm 34:7, WEB).
We also pray for your godson’s heart and mind. May he find strength in the Lord, knowing that even in this trial, God is refining him and drawing him closer. Let him cast all his anxieties on Christ, who cares for him (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). If he does not yet know Jesus as his Savior, we pray that this season would lead him to repentance and faith in the One who can truly set him free—both now and for eternity.
Father, we ask that You would break every chain of fear, oppression, and violence in that facility. Bring Your light into the darkness, and let Your will be done. We pray for the salvation of those who are causing harm, that they may turn from their wickedness and seek Your forgiveness. Softening their hearts, Lord, that they may no longer be instruments of the enemy but vessels of Your mercy.
We stand in agreement with you, trusting that the Lord is faithful to hear and answer. Let your godson experience the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, WEB). May he walk in the assurance that *"the Lord will give strength to his people. The Lord will bless his people with peace"* (Psalm 29:11, WEB).
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray—*Amen.*
