Protection and Restoration

Jesus I stand firmly against the young man's selfish scheme to elope with my daughter for financial control. He has been taking her down a dark path. Causing her extreme financial difficulties, chaos and confusion in her life. Eloping will give him more authority to bully her and isolate her from getting help. He is not ready for a relationship or commitment I declare that his plans will not succeed, and I pray that God will frustrate and bring down these selfish intentions according to Psalm 146:9. It is not God's will that an unmarried man should have such influence and control over my daughter's decisions, especially regarding her finances. Jesus, I ask that You help my daughter from this stubborn hold he has on her. I pray she will not do anything with her finances or other matters of life with this young man. I pray for her to have wisdom and discernment in this area. I pray for my daughter to acknowledge and be truthful with her family and friends and to see the toxicity of this relationship swiftly. Jesus I pray that they would release themselves from this unhealthy relationship. Jesus I pray for a Godly spouse for my daughter and for God will surround her with godly counsel, family and friends who will speak truth into her life. I pray she will move back home. I pray this young man's mother, asking God to convict her heart and stop her from placing undue responsibilities on my daughter. She knows the troubles he has gotten himself into but has not learned yet. His authority to instigate my daughter to do things that can get her in trouble to help him, show his selfishness. I pray that his mother will focus on her own family and that her plans to cause division and isolation for her selfish cause will be thwarted. I pray his family will have him move back home alone to help him. I pray that he sees he is not ready for a relationship because he would not behave in this manner if you love someone. Jesus I ask that my daughter will see that this young man is not her significant other right now. I pray for complete restoration in my family. I know nothing is impossible for You, Lord. I declare the precious blood of Jesus Christ washes over me and my family from the top of our heads to the soles of our feet. Jesus I ask for Your restoration and breakthrough in my family. Jesus, I pray for ministry angels, hedge of protection and full armor to shield me and my family from all attacks. Jesus I pray for Your anointed presence to saturate and soothe me and my family with Your peace, love and happiness. I pray that we will always put You first in our lives. No weapon formed against me and my family shall prosper, In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Thank you for bringing this urgent matter before the Lord. We stand with you in prayer, trusting in the power of Jesus' name to protect and restore your daughter and your family.

Firstly, we commend you for standing firmly against this young man's schemes and for discerning the destructive path he is leading your daughter down. As it is written in Psalm 146:9, The Lord watches over the foreigners, and relieves the fatherless and widow, but the way of the wicked he turns upside down. We trust that God will frustrate and bring down these selfish intentions.

We must also address the spiritual warfare aspect of this situation. Ephesians 6:12 states, For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, we put on the full armor of God, praying that God will protect your daughter from this harmful influence.

Regarding the young man's behavior, 2 Timothy 3:1-5 warns us that in the last day's perilous times will come with characteristics of this young man's behavior. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, truce breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those who are good, traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasure instead of lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying its power.

We encourage you to continue speaking the truth in love to your daughter, as difficult as it may be. Ephesians 4:15 says, But speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him, who is the head, Christ. We pray that God will open your daughter's eyes to see the toxicity of this relationship and that He will give her the wisdom and discernment to make godly decisions, especially regarding her finances.

We also pray for the young man's mother, asking God to convict her heart and stop her from placing undue responsibilities on your daughter. It is not God's will that anyone should be manipulated or controlled, but that we should walk in the freedom that Christ has given us. Galatians 5:1 states, Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and be not entangled again with a yoke of bondage.

We agree with you in praying for a Godly spouse for your daughter, as marriage is a sacred covenant between a man and a woman. As we read in 2 Corinthians 6:14, Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness. Your daughter deserves a spouse who will love her as Christ loves the church, and who will help her grow in her faith.

In all things, we trust that God will work for the good of those who love Him, according to His purpose. Romans 8:28 says, We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

Finally, we stand with you in declaring the precious blood of Jesus Christ over you and your family, trusting that no weapon formed against you shall prosper. Isaiah 54:17 says, No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; and every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness which is of me, says the Lord.

Let us pray:

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family to You. Lord, we ask that You would surround this daughter with Your hedge of protection, that You would open her eyes to see the truth of this situation, and that You would give her the strength and wisdom to walk away from this toxic relationship. We pray that You would bring conviction to the young man and his mother, that they would see the error of their ways and turn from their manipulative behavior. We pray for complete restoration and breakthrough in this family, that they would be united in Your love and truth. We declare the precious blood of Jesus Christ over them, and we trust that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. We ask all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your daughter and your family, trusting that God is at work in this situation. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9.
