Thank you for sharing your heart for your daughter and grandchildren. Your love and concern for them is evident, and it is right to bring them before the Lord in prayer for protection, healing, provision and wisdom.
We join you in praying for a hedge of protection around your daughter and her children spiritually, physically, mentally and emotionally. Scripture reminds us that true safety is not found in our own ingenuity or careful planning but in looking to the Lord for help, guidance, protection and strength. When we try to fortify ourselves by our own ideas we miss the source of real security. Only God can guard hearts and minds and keep a family safe in every way, and we ask Him to cover them and keep them from evil and harm.
We also pray for your daughter's healing and for her to return to the Lord. The Bible warns about being wise in our own eyes and measuring ourselves by our own standards instead of by God's light and truth. When a person trusts her own judgment above God's Word, plans can seem right for a moment but lead away from safety and peace. God's wisdom confounds human wisdom, and He often uses what the world calls foolish to show the emptiness of trusting in ourselves. Pray that the Lord will gently show her the difference between her own thoughts and His truth, draw her heart back to Himself through Jesus Christ who alone is the way of salvation, and give her a desire to seek the living God for guidance rather than any other voice. He has promised that if anyone lacks wisdom, He will give it generously to those who ask Him.
For provision we pray that the Father who knows every need will supply what they lack according to His riches in Christ. That includes safe and affordable housing and all daily necessities. He sees where they are and what they need, and He is able to open doors that no one else can open and to provide stability and peace in their home.
We pray also as you asked that the Lord will graciously prevent any unwise or unsafe plans from moving forward. Sometimes the most loving answer God gives is to block a path. We ask Him to close doors that would lead to harm, to make clear what is not His will, and to redirect steps toward what is good and safe, even when His people cannot yet see why.
And we pray for you, that God will give you wisdom and grace as you communicate with your daughter and with others involved. True wisdom does not come from persuasive words or human skill but from the Holy Spirit. Ask the Lord to give you words that are both truthful and loving, seasoned with grace, spoken at the right time and in the right tone, so that your concern is heard and your love is clear. May He help you to speak the truth in love and to trust Him with the results.
