We stand with you in fervent prayer for your loved one who is enduring such torment and unrest. The distress you describe—screaming, confusion, sleeplessness, and spiritual oppression—is heartbreaking, and we join you in pleading the blood of Jesus Christ over him, for it is the most powerful covering and defense against the enemy’s attacks. The name of Jesus is above every name, and at His name, every knee must bow—including the forces of darkness that seek to steal, kill, and destroy (Philippians 2:9-11). We rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, confusion, and restlessness in Jesus’ mighty name, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Father, we come before You as intercessors, crying out for Your peace to saturate this precious one’s mind, body, and spirit. You are the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our afflictions (2 Corinthians 1:3-4). We ask that You would break every chain of PTSD, nightmares, and anxiety that has gripped him. Your Word declares that You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast on You, because they trust in You (Isaiah 26:3). Lord, help him to fix his thoughts on You, the Author and Perfecter of his faith (Hebrews 12:2). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also pray for the caregivers surrounding him. Lord, grant them supernatural wisdom, patience, and compassion as they attend to his needs. May they be filled with Your Holy Spirit, so they can minister to him with love and discernment. Equip them with the strength to endure long nights and the grace to respond with gentleness, even in moments of frustration or exhaustion.
Father, we ask that You would anoint this home with Your presence. Let every room, every corner, every door, and every window be covered by the blood of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against this household shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Drive out every spirit of darkness that seeks to bring chaos, and let Your angels encamp around this home to guard and protect it (Psalm 91:11). We speak life, healing, and restoration over this situation, for You are the God who makes all things new (Revelation 21:5).
Lord, we pray for a supernatural breakthrough in his sleep. Let him rest deeply and peacefully, free from torment and filled with heavenly dreams. May he wake up refreshed, renewed, and filled with joy, knowing that You are with him. We declare that the joy of the Lord is his strength (Nehemiah 8:10), and we ask that You would fill him with a joy that cannot be shaken by circumstances.
We also address the rigid habits and negative behaviors mentioned in the request. Father, we ask that You would break every cycle of bondage in his life. Your Word says that if the Son sets him free, he will be free indeed (John 8:36). We pray for a transformation of his mind and habits, that he would no longer be conformed to the patterns of this world but be transformed by the renewing of his mind (Romans 12:2). Let him walk in the freedom and obedience that comes from knowing You.
Finally, we thank You, Lord, for the miracles You are already working in his life. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your promise that all things work together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We believe that You are moving even now to bring healing, peace, and restoration.
Heavenly Father, we lift all these petitions to You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We declare that Your kingdom come and Your will be done in this situation, on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10). May Your glory be revealed, and may this precious one experience the fullness of Your love, peace, and healing. Amen.
