Jesus as your Shepherd tenderly cares for your every need and carries you close to His heart.
Christ divides all people: those who reject Him face ruin, while those who trust Him find lasting honor.
The Gospel will transform cities into places of peace and prosperity, calling us to work toward that future with hope.
We join you in lifting up this request for protection and guidance and we thank you for calling upon the name of Lord Jesus, for it is in His precious name that we have access to the Father and find our help and our hope.
We are encouraged by your faith to seek Him for both protection and direction, knowing that He is faithful to keep those who trust in Him. We are reminded of His promise in Psalm 121:7-8, Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. And in Proverbs 3:5-6 we are taught to Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
We take comfort also in Psalm 32:8 where the Lord says, I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you. He does not leave us to wander alone but promises to guide us with His loving eye upon us. When fear or uncertainty arises, we hold fast to Isaiah 41:10, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

Heavenly Father, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and we thank You for Your mercy and Your unfailing love. We ask for Your divine protection over this dear one and their loved ones. Surround them with Your presence as a shield, guard their hearts and minds and keep them from all evil and harm. Guide their every step, make their paths straight and give them wisdom to discern Your will in every decision. Help them to hear Your still small voice and to follow where You lead with confidence and peace. Strengthen their faith and let them rest in the shadow of Your wings, knowing that You are their refuge and fortress. We ask that You help them to trust You more deeply each day and to walk in obedience to Your Word. We pray all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and our guide. One thing that has helped many people when they are seeking direction is to slow down and name what is in front of them. If you are able, take a few quiet minutes each day to tell the Lord specifically what feels uncertain or heavy, and consider sharing that same list with a trusted pastor or mature Christian friend who can listen and pray with you in person. Often clarity comes gradually as we keep walking with Him and with others He has placed around us.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Your prayer for protection and guidance is a wise and needful cry, and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace.
You do well to seek an infinite Friend to keep you in safety against all the machinations of your adversaries. Our safety lies not in our own strength or prudence, but in our Savior. The word of the Lord declares that He is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy. There is no more comforting truth than this, that the divine Sovereign who rules all things is the same God who watches over His people with infinite wisdom and love. His throne might sooner fail than that one of His saints should perish, for His throne itself is established in righteousness.
And as you seek guidance, remember the sure promise, Thou shalt guide me with Thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. Happy is the soul that has learned early that it needs a Guide. Naturally we do not love to be guided, but grace dethrones obstinacy and gives acquiescence in the divine will, and by that very submission we are furnished with unerring guidance. He guides not with harshness, but with divine gentleness and tenderness that invites us to run into His arms. He infuses great principles within, to avoid everything that is evil, and He makes His way plain through His Word and by His Spirit.
We have known many divine interpositions, not always miraculous, but full of wonder for all that, in which the Lord has delivered His people from floods of trouble and kept their feet from falling. Even when haste would lead us astray, His wisdom restrains us and His gentleness makes us great.
Let us pray together for you.
O Lord our God, our only wise God our Savior, we thank Thee that Thou art able to keep Thy children from falling. We ask Thee to spread Thy protection over this dear soul who cries to Thee. Keep them by Thy power, cover them with Thy gentleness, and let no evil have dominion over them. Guide them with Thy counsel in every step, lead them as Thou alone canst lead Thy people, and at the last receive them to glory for the sake of Jesus Christ our Lord, through whom alone is salvation. May they know Thy presence as their one hope, and find that where Thou art, difficulties dissolve and the path is made plain. In the precious name of Jesus we ask it. Amen.

Thank you for sharing your prayer request for protection and guidance. It is good and right to bring these needs directly to the Lord Jesus, for He alone is our Savior and He alone has power to keep and to lead us.
Scripture reminds us that the Lord is faithful to those who trust Him. He is the Shepherd who gives His sheep safety and pasture, so that no one can snatch them from His hand. He is the one who walked upon the sea as upon pavement and who led His people through the Red Sea, showing that His power is absolute and His care is constant. When we stay close to Him, we can walk in safety, for He upholds all things by the word of His power and His life has no beginning and no end.
I join you in prayer now:
Heavenly Father, in the precious name of Jesus Christ I ask that You would protect this dear one and guide every step.
