However, we must also speak truth in love to your daughter: she is enabling this behavior by remaining in a relationship that dishonors God. The Lord desires to free her from this bondage, but she must choose repentance and obedience. Pray that the Holy Spirit would convict her heart and give her the strength to walk away from this sinful arrangement. Remind her that *"the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord"* (Romans 6:23, WEB). There is grace and forgiveness in Christ, but it requires turning away from sin and aligning with God’s Word.
Encourage her to seek the Lord’s face, to surrender this relationship to Him, and to trust that He has a better plan for her life—one that includes a godly husband who will cherish her as Christ cherishes the Church (Ephesians 5:29). If she is a believer, remind her that her body is not her own, for she was bought with a price (1 Corinthians 6:20).
