We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up this urgent request for divine protection and deliverance for this beloved one. The Scriptures remind us that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Yet we do not fear, for the Lord is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We are struck by the fact that this request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father and by whom we are saved. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can stand boldly on the Word of God, for He is the Word made flesh (John 1:14). We urge this one to place their full trust in Jesus Christ, for without Him, we can do nothing (John 15:5). If there is any doubt or hesitation in their heart about their relationship with Christ, we plead with them to repent and believe in the Gospel, for the Kingdom of God is at hand (Mark 1:15).
Let us pray together: Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine protection and deliverance for this one. Lord, You are their shield and their strong tower (Psalm 18:2). We ask that You surround them with Your heavenly angels, encamping around them to deliver them from every evil work (Psalm 34:7). Strengthen their faith, Lord, that they may not waver but stand firmly on Your promises. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may be bold as a lion (Proverbs 28:1), unshaken by the schemes of the enemy.
Father, if there is any area in their life where they have not fully surrendered to You, we ask that You convict their heart and draw them closer to You. Let them know that You are their deliverer, their fortress, and their ever-present help. We rebuke every plan of the enemy to bring fear, doubt, or harm, for greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Cover them with the blood of Jesus, which speaks better things than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:24).
Lord, we ask that You fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Let them walk in the assurance that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare Your victory over their life, for You have already overcome the world (John 16:33).
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness, knowing that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Deuteronomy 31:6). May they experience Your deliverance in a mighty way and give You all the glory. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
We encourage this one to immerse themselves in the Word of God daily, for it is their sword in this spiritual battle (Ephesians 6:17). Stand firm in the faith, knowing that the Lord is fighting for you (Exodus 14:14). Let your heart be filled with worship and praise, for the Lord inhabits the praises of His people (Psalm 22:3). Do not grow weary in prayer, but persist in seeking His face, for He is faithful to answer. If you have not already, we urge you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for it is with the heart that one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:9-10). This is the foundation of our faith, and it is by this that we stand.
