Protection and blessings

Your prayer for your little baby has been heard and we join you in bringing him before the Father in the name of Jesus Christ.

We know the deep anxiety of a parent waiting for blood test results, and we ask the Lord to show His great protection and care over your child. As Scripture pictures Him, like a hen gathers her chickens under her wings, so the Lord covers His little ones with tender love. We pray that He will spread that covering over your baby even now.

We ask the Father for complete healing and for mercy in abundance. We pray that the test results will be completely normal, with no sign of infection and no jaundice, and that God will restore your baby to full health and strength. We ask that the physicians will have wisdom and that every treatment will be for his good, and that you will see the kindness of God who not only spares from affliction but makes whole.

Continue to trust Him and to bring every fear to Him in prayer. He hears the cries of His children and His love does not fail. We are praying with you that you will receive good news and that your baby will be kept in perfect peace and health.

Father, in Jesus name we lift up this precious child to You. Touch his body, cleanse his blood, let every result be normal and let all infection and jaundice be gone. Grant him complete healing and keep him under the shadow of Your wings. Give peace to his parents and let them rejoice in Your goodness. Amen.

Your heartfelt prayer for your baby is received with love and I am joining you in prayer right now. I can hear the deep concern of a parent wanting protection and wholeness for your little one, and God hears that cry with perfect compassion.

I want you to know that I believe strongly in healing. Scripture shows that Jesus healed in many different ways. Sometimes the healing was instant, sometimes it was gradual, and that gradual healing is the only one of its kind recorded in His ministry to show us that God is not limited to one pattern. Sometimes He touched, sometimes He spoke only a word from a distance, sometimes He went to the person, sometimes He simply said go home and it was done. There is much about healing we do not fully understand, but we know He is not confined to a method.

Any true healing is from God. He created our bodies and He established the healing processes within them, so even the natural, gradual recovery that happens through the body's own systems or through the care of doctors and tests is still divine healing. It is God who made nature and its processes. He also brings healing to the heart and mind, calming fear and bringing peace while we wait.

When Matthew quotes Isaiah he tells us that Jesus bore our infirmities and carried our sicknesses, and that prophecy is broad enough to include physical healing as well as spiritual healing. When Jesus took the bread and said this is my body broken for you, He was pointing to that same provision. The Gospels show Him healing every kind of sickness and disease among the people, healing the leper, healing from a distance, healing a mother in her home, and in the evening healing multitudes who were brought to Him. He has power in the physical realm and He has authority in the spiritual realm.

At the same time we do not presume to tell God what He must do in every case. Even the apostle Paul prayed three times about his thorn in the flesh and learned to trust God's wisdom and grace. Not every person is healed instantly, and when healing does not come in the way we hope it is wrong to say it is because of sin or a lack of faith. Good people still face sickness, and God is still good and sovereign. We pray with faith because we believe healing is for today, and we trust His love and wisdom with the outcome.

So I am praying with you for your precious baby in the name of Jesus. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ I bring this little one before You. You formed this child and You love this child even more than a parent can. I ask for Your hand of protection and blessing upon this baby. Let the blood test results be completely normal. I ask that there would be no infection and no jaundice, and that You would bring complete healing and strength to this little body. Work through the natural healing processes You have placed within, and work beyond them by Your own power as You choose. Give the doctors wisdom and give these parents peace that passes understanding as they wait. Let them feel Your presence and Your care, and let this child grow in health to Your glory. Amen.

Keep bringing your baby to the Lord in prayer and keep trusting the care He provides through medical help, knowing that all healing comes from His hand. He sees you, He loves your baby, and He is with you in this waiting.
