Protection against from bad people

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, I come to you in a big distress help me find a refuge in you Jesus. Bring Justice to evil In-Laws for all intentional plans and actions against me in the name of Jesus. It’s been a long delay to see that they have no right to accuse me of being their daughter-in-law. Protect me, God, bring my husband on my side to stand up for me, may our marriage be revived and bring Glory to you Jesus. Please block in-laws from intentionally insulting and disrespectful behavior, help my husband to stand firm with love for me. These people, both in-laws, are mentally unhealthy with controlling our marriage, may our marriage be Holy. Bring my husband a change in heart to love me no matter what and expect truly loving care about me. May my husband's ears be closed to negativity about me from in-laws and third-party enemies. I want to trust in your protection and love for me, fill my husband's heart with true love for me that he stops accepting his parents' side with disrespect for me because they are evil people. Stop this attack against in-laws. Resolve our legal issues with them for our children to have a happy home, for our marriage to enter unity and peace with trust for each other in the Name of Jesus.

We come before you in agreement, lifting up our sister who is crying out for justice, protection, and restoration in her marriage. We praise you, Heavenly Father, for she has come to you in the name of Jesus, the only name by which we are saved and through whom we have access to your throne of grace. Your Word assures us in John 16:23-24, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Hitherto, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full."* We stand on this promise as we intercede for her.

The distress in this marriage is deep, and the attacks from her in-laws are not only unjust but are causing division where God intends unity. The Bible is clear about the sanctity of marriage and the roles within it. Ephesians 5:31 says, *"For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh."* This union is sacred, and no outside force—especially not parents—should be allowed to disrupt what God has joined together. We rebuke the spirit of control, manipulation, and disrespect that is operating through these in-laws. Their actions are not of God, for 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 reminds us that *"Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things."*

To our sister, we say this: You are not alone in this battle. The Lord sees the affliction you are enduring, and He is your refuge and strength. Psalm 9:9 declares, *"Yahweh will also be a high tower for the oppressed; a high tower in times of trouble."* However, we must also address the state of your marriage with truth and love. While we pray for your husband’s heart to turn toward you in love and loyalty, we urge you to examine whether there is any way you may have contributed to the strife—not to place blame, but to ensure that your own heart is right before God. Proverbs 21:9 says, *"It is better to dwell in the corner of the housetop than to share a house with a contentious woman."* Similarly, a husband who is easily swayed by his parents may also struggle with weakness in leadership or resolve. Pray for him to be filled with the Holy Spirit, that he may lead your home with wisdom, courage, and a heart fully submitted to Christ.

We also caution you to guard your own heart against bitterness or resentment. Hebrews 12:15 warns, *"Looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it."* While the actions of your in-laws are grievous, you must release them to God’s justice rather than allowing their sin to harden your heart. Romans 12:19-21 commands, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.' Therefore 'If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head.' Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."*

As for the legal battles, we pray for God’s favor and wisdom to prevail. Proverbs 21:1 assures us, *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the water courses. He turns it wherever he desires."* Trust that God can turn even the hearts of judges or mediators to bring about justice for you and your children. We declare Psalm 37:5-6 over your situation: *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun."*

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is under siege by the enemy through the actions of her in-laws. Lord, you are a God of justice, and you see the wickedness that has been perpetrated against her. We ask that you rise up as her defender and bring an end to the schemes of those who seek to destroy her marriage and her peace. Father, we bind every spirit of control, manipulation, and division in the name of Jesus. Let their plans be exposed and thwarted, and let their mouths be silenced when they speak lies or slander against her.

Lord, we pray for her husband. Soften his heart toward his wife and give him the strength to stand as the leader of his home. Remove any blinders from his eyes that keep him from seeing the truth. Fill him with your Holy Spirit, that he may love his wife as Christ loves the church—sacrificially, unconditionally, and without reservation. Let him be deaf to the voices of his parents when they speak against his wife, and let him be quick to rebuke their interference. Restore the unity in this marriage, Lord. Let forgiveness flow where there has been hurt, and let trust be rebuilt on the foundation of your love.

We pray for protection over their children, that they would not be caught in the crossfire of this conflict. Let their home be a place of peace, joy, and security. Father, we ask for your divine intervention in the legal matters they are facing. Give wisdom to their lawyers, favor in the courts, and a resolution that brings glory to your name. Let justice prevail, and let their family be restored to wholeness.

Finally, Lord, we ask that you surround our sister with your peace that surpasses all understanding. Guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Let her not grow weary in doing good, but let her trust in you completely. Remind her that you are her shield and her exceedingly great reward.

We declare all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has overcome the world. Let your will be done in this situation, and let your name be glorified. Amen.

Dear ###,

We're here with you, standing in the gap, lifting your cries up to our Heavenly Father. We're not just praying for protection and justice against your in-laws, but also for restoration and unity in your marriage. We believe that God is a God of justice, and He sees your distress.

We're praying for your husband, that his heart would be softened towards you. We ask that God would give him the strength to stand firm, to love you unconditionally, and to lead your home with wisdom and courage. We're also praying for your in-laws, that God would open their hearts to see the error of their ways and bring them to repentance.

We're claiming Psalm 91 over you and your family. We declare that you will dwell in the shelter of the Most High and rest in the shadow of the Almighty. We pray that God will cover you with His feathers and under His wings you will find refuge (Psalm 91:1-4).

We're also asking God to give you the strength to endure this trial. We remind you of 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Trust in Him, and He will give you the strength to overcome this.

Let's keep praying together, ###. We're in this with you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
