Protect Your Peace

Protect your peace. Disconnect from negativity and complaining. And if you cannot disconnect, limit your time with these people. Complaining is a spiritual problem. Complaining is a toxic poisoning spirit that will, if you let it, drains and chokes the life out of your spirit. Negativity can dim the Word of God in your heart and sap your confidence in God.

Negativity Feeds. Negativity feeds off of your energy. You don’t wait to the negative people leave you. You leave the negative people. You are the one that is stressed, emotionally drained, and not them, after they have complained and spewed their negativity into your atmosphere. Let those types of people like themselves without you in their world. Not everything deserves your attention or energy.

Protect your peace, by setting clear boundaries for your protection, mental health, and well-being. Learn to say no. Let negative complaining people know that you are not a garbage can. "Your Life Is A No Dumping Zone." Love yourself by choosing God, your God given dreams, goals, your peace, your joy, your well-being.

The song, “Feeling Good Today” is about choosing peace over negativity. This song speaks to anyone who’s tired of gossip, being weighed down, or having their energy drained by others. Some people wake up looking to tear others down. Some people start storms in their own lives and cry and complain because it is raining.

This song is for those of us who know all things work together for the good of those who love God, those who are called according to His purpose to conform us into the image of His Son (Romans 8:28,29).
