Protect Our CHILDREN, Lk 17:2 Mt 18:10, May They Know The Holy from Youth 2 Tim 3:15, Your Love 1 Jn 4:10, Angels Ps 91:11-12, for Signs Isa 8:18...

Father, we thank You AGAIN for Christ Our Good Shepherd, The Lord Jesus, John 10:11. We ask PROTECTION for them, thank You for these precious youngsters, that You care for us, even ALL OUR CHILDREN and EXTENDED FAMILY, Comforting them with Your Rod and Staff, keeping them from fear, Ps 23:1-6, Isa 40:11, Ezek 34:15, Rev 7:17. JESUS, Take care of Your little ones, comfort and feed them and us, for You have given us a Shepherd after Our Father's Heart, even Jesus, so kindly FEED THEM on wisdom and knowledge, Jer 3:15.

Give Your angels charge over our children, friends, parents, uncles, aunts and babysitters -- even all the children of those that congregate here, pray and our fellow believers in spiritual battles, Ps 91:9-16, Heb 1:14. Strengthen our children, our brothers and sisters, even shepherd the entire flock of God among us, 1 Pet 5:2, Acts 20:28. Thank You for "mothers in Israel," and DADS on here, who are on guard for not only themselves, but especially for the young ones from evil and warped wolves, Acts 20:28-29, evil people and imposters, 2 Tim 3:13, even if they are "clergy" or "ministers," Strengthen and heal any hurt youth, and give them all in the faith needed for intercession long-term (some of us are believing for YOUR protection remotely for OUR little ones) with power and might through the Holy Spirit to know the dimensions of Your love, Eph 3:14-18, even NOW shed the love of God abroad in their hearts by The Holy Spirit, Rom 5:5.

Be near (The ANGEL of THE LORD CAMPS ALL AROUND those who FEAR HIM, Ps 34:7) the little ones AND bind those wicked people in evil who are in need of deliverance, binding the enemy NOW, in the AUTHORITY of JESUS, Matt 28:18, until the proper time of deliverance by just saying the Word, Matt 8:8, and draw them, us and all around us to Jesus. Especially draw those weary and heavy laden, that You might give them rest, Your yoke is easy and burden is light, so they find rest for their souls, Matt 11:28-30.

Work everything out for the furtherance of the gospel, Phil 1:12, work EVERYTHING together for good, Rom 8:28, according to the counsel of YOUR WILL, Eph 1:11. WE submit to GOD, resist the devil and it is written, "He will flee from us," James 4:7, 1 Peter 5:9, from demoniacs, Mark 16:15-17, from all, since the church YOU built on WHO YOU ARE AS THE MESSIAH will always prevail over the gates of hell, Matt 16:17-18. We pray the armor of God on this one, even now, keep their eyes from seeing, hearing or speaking evil, and their minds AND bodies to be KEPT FROM THE EVIL ONE AND EVIL PEOPLE, 2 Tim 3:13, 2 Thes 3:2, "See to it you do not cause one of these little ones to stumble for it would be better to be drowned with a millstone," Matt 10:42, Mk 9:42, Lk 17:2, "SEE TO IT YOU DO NOT DESPISE even ONE of these LITTLE ONES, for I (Jesus The Risen King) say to you their angels ALWAYS see the Face of Our Father," Matt 18:10. We join with you in this urgent and beautiful cry for the protection of our children and we say amen to your prayer for them to know the Holy Scriptures from youth and to be kept under the care of our Good Shepherd.

We are deeply encouraged by your heart for not only your own children but for all our children and extended family, for the children of those who congregate together and for fellow believers in spiritual battles. This is the heart of our Father who loves children dearly and warns so solemnly about their care. As Jesus said, Whoever will cause one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him if he were thrown into the sea with a millstone hung around his neck Luke 17:2, and See that you don't despise one of these little ones, for I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven Matthew 18:10. We take these words to heart and we stand on guard with you against wolves, evil people and imposters 2 Timothy 3:13 and against those who would harm them, knowing that the Lord Himself is their Shepherd.

We love how you have anchored this prayer in the Word and we agree together that from infancy our children may know the holy Scriptures which are able to make them wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus 2 Timothy 3:15. We pray that the love of God would be shed abroad in their hearts through the Holy Spirit Romans 5:5, for in this was God's love revealed in us, that God has sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him 1 John 4:10, and that they would be kept as signs and wonders from the Lord Isaiah 8:18, dwelling securely as His flock.

We pray together now.

Father, we thank You for Christ our Good Shepherd who lays down His life for the sheep John 10:11. We thank You for these precious youngsters, for every child and extended family member You have entrusted to us. We ask that You shepherd them Yourself. Lead them beside still waters and comfort them with Your rod and Your staff Psalm 23:4, carry them in Your bosom as a shepherd carries his lambs Isaiah 40:11, feed them and cause them to lie down Ezekiel 34:15, and lead them to springs of living water Revelation 7:17. Give us shepherds after Your own heart who will feed them with knowledge and understanding Jeremiah 3:15.

Lord, we ask that You give Your angels charge over them to guard them in all their ways Psalm 91:11, for are they not all serving spirits, sent out to do service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation Hebrews 1:14. Let the angel of the Lord encamp around those who fear You and deliver them Psalm 34:7. Keep their eyes from seeing evil and their minds and bodies from the evil one, deliver them from evil people 2 Thessalonians 3:2. We submit ourselves to You, resist the devil and trust Your promise that he will flee from us James 4:7, for You have given us authority in the name of Jesus Matthew 28:18 and You have promised that the gates of hell will not prevail against Your church Matthew 16:18. Heal any hurt youth among us, strengthen mothers and fathers who stand guard, and empower us all with might through Your Spirit that we may know the breadth and length and height and depth of Christ's love Ephesians 3:18.

We ask that You draw the weary and heavy laden to Jesus that they may find rest for their souls, for Your yoke is easy and Your burden is light Matthew 11:28. Work all things together for good for those who love You Romans 8:28 and for the furtherance of the Good News Philippians 1:12, according to the counsel of Your will Ephesians 1:11. We thank You in advance, believing that whatever we ask in prayer, believing, we will receive Mark 11:24.

We rest in this promise that You will stand and shepherd Your flock in the strength of the Lord, in the majesty of the name of the Lord Your God and they will dwell securely Micah 5:4, and that our Lord Jesus has other sheep not of this fold which He must bring also, and they will hear His voice and there will be one flock and one shepherd John 10:16. Keep our children in that one flock, secure in Your hand until the ends of the earth Acts 1:8. We ask all of this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ our Lord, through whom alone we have access to You, amen.

We were moved by your prayer for the children, and for all the extended family and friends you carry with them. Your love for these little ones comes through so clearly, and your longing for them to be kept safe and close to the Good Shepherd is a beautiful burden to bring before the Lord. We hear too how faithfully you have been interceding, even for those you cannot be near in person.

Long term prayer like this can feel heavy at times, especially when you are holding so many names and needs at once. It helps to keep it steady and sustainable. One thing that has helped others is to keep a simple written list of the children and family members on your heart and to bring a few before the Lord each day, perhaps with one or two other trusted believers who will agree with you in prayer. That shared, regular rhythm can keep the intercession going without you having to carry it alone.

We are joining you now, thanking God for each child you named and asking for His gentle keeping over them and wisdom for everyone who cares for them.

Father, thank You for these children and families and for Your care as our Shepherd. We ask You to draw each of them close to Yourself, give peace where there is fear, and give wisdom and strength to parents, grandparents and all who watch over them. Keep them in Your care and keep our hearts steady as we continue to pray. In Jesus' name, amen.

It is a holy and right thing to bring the little ones before the throne of grace, and to plead for them with earnest importunity. The prayer which you have poured out is according to the mind of God, for He has set a special watch over children and has declared that whoso shall cause one of these little ones to stumble, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck. Our Lord Jesus has said, See that ye despise not one of these little ones, for their angels do always behold the face of our Father which is in heaven.

There is great comfort in the promise, I will pour my Spirit upon thy seed. This is the children's great need. They need not only our care and our instruction, but the Spirit of God Himself. For the heart is a den of evil, and out of it proceed evil thoughts which even in the young soon show themselves. No teaching, no guarding, no example will suffice unless the Lord Himself cleanse the heart. The blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin, and that blood alone can purge the young heart and keep it. Therefore plead this promise daily, that God would pour His Spirit upon your children and upon your children's children, and that they may know the Holy Scriptures from their youth, which are able to make them wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

Feed them also upon the truth. I am more and more persuaded that the study of a good Scriptural catechism is of infinite value to our children. Let them be taught the doctrines of grace plainly, let them hear of the Good Shepherd who giveth His life for the sheep, who gathereth the lambs with His arm and carrieth them in His bosom. He will stand and feed His flock in the strength of the Lord, and they shall dwell securely. Commit them to that Shepherd, for He is able to keep them from fear, to comfort them with His rod and His staff, and to lead them beside the still waters.

You do well to pray that the angel of the Lord may encamp round about them that fear Him, and that He shall give His angels charge over them. Yet remember that our chief confidence is not in angels but in the Lord Himself who useth them as ministering spirits. Cast thy burden upon the Lord. If the burden of these little ones, and of the wolves that would devour them, is too heavy for you, trace it back to God and leave it there. He hears the cry of His children and He will deliver. Submit yourselves therefore to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you. We overcome evil not by returning evil for evil, for that is the way of the children of darkness, but by overcoming evil with good, and by flying at once to the blood of the atonement.

Let us pray together that the Lord would keep their eyes from seeing evil and their ears from hearing it, that He would keep their minds and bodies from the evil one and from evil men, that He would strengthen mothers in Israel and fathers who stand guard, and that He would heal any who have been hurt. And let us pray above all that each child, and each of us, may be found in Christ, for there is no other salvation. If any among us are yet unconverted, let them first seek mercy for their own souls, for without faith in the Lord Jesus we have no ground to expect a blessing.

May the Lord shed abroad His love in their hearts by the Holy Ghost, and cause them to know the dimensions of that love which passeth knowledge, and may He work all things together for good according to the counsel of His own will, and for the furtherance of the gospel. We thank Him in advance, trusting His Word, and asking all in the name and authority of Jesus, who has all power in heaven and in earth. Amen.
