We come before the Lord with this request, standing firmly on His promises and seeking His divine protection. First, we must address the mention of "Jesus??" in the prayer. It is essential to approach our Heavenly Father with confidence and faith, knowing that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved, as Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Let us pray with unwavering faith in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
Father God, we thank You for Your promise of protection found in Your Word. We stand on Isaiah 54:17, which declares, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, says the Lord." We pray for Your divine protection over this dear one and their loved ones. Let every arrow aimed at them be turned into blessings, prosperity, and love, according to Your perfect will.
Lord, we ask that You surround them with Your heavenly hosts, shielding them from all harm and evil. Psalm 91:4 assures us, "He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart." We claim this promise over their life, trusting in Your unfailing protection.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment, that they may walk in Your ways and avoid the snares of the enemy. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Guide their steps, Lord, and let Your light shine upon their path.
Father, we rebuke any plans of the enemy to bring harm, division, or strife into their life. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned. We stand firm in the authority given to us through Jesus Christ, as stated in Luke 10:19, "Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you."
We pray for a hedge of protection around their home, their family, and all that concerns them. Job 1:10 speaks of Your hedge of protection, "Haven’t you made a hedge around him, and around his house, and around all that he has, on every side?" We ask for this same hedge of protection, Lord, that no evil may come near them.
Lastly, we pray for a heart that seeks You above all else. May they find their strength and refuge in You alone, as Psalm 46:1 declares, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
