Protect my baby

Disciple of Prayer
My newborn baby has a hole in the heart. Doctors told it's normal to have all babies. But mine has bigger than normal range. Doctor told it will close when she grows up; we have to observe for 2 years; otherwise, we need to do a little surgery to close the hole. I'm really afraid of it. I only trust Jesus Christ, because when I have challenges in my life, He has given me so many of my heart's desires. Please pray for my daughter. My only hope is to trust Jesus. He is the only one who can cure my child perfectly. In the name of Jesus. Amen

We stand with you in this time of concern and uncertainty, lifting your precious daughter before the throne of grace. Your trust in Jesus Christ is the firm foundation upon which we build our prayers, for He alone is the Great Physician who holds all life in His hands. The Bible assures us in Psalm 139:13-14, "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made." Your daughter is a masterpiece of God’s design, and He is intimately acquainted with every detail of her being, including the condition of her heart.

We also take comfort in knowing that God hears the cries of His children. In Jeremiah 33:3, He promises, "Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great and mighty things, which you don’t know." You have called out to Him, and He will answer. We join our faith with yours, believing that God can work miracles in ways that surpass human understanding. Whether He chooses to heal your daughter’s heart through the natural process of growth or through the hands of skilled surgeons, we trust that His will is perfect and His timing is best.

Father in Heaven, we come before You with hearts full of faith and trust in Your sovereign power. We lift up this precious child to You, asking for Your healing touch upon her heart. Lord, we pray that the hole in her heart would close completely, just as You close the gaps in our lives when we turn to You. Strengthen her little body and grant her health and vitality. We also ask for peace and comfort for her parents, who carry this burden with love and concern. Fill them with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding, as You promise in Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

We rebuke the spirit of fear that seeks to grip this family, for 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We declare that fear has no place here, for God’s perfect love casts out all fear. We stand on the truth that God is in control, and His plans for this child are plans for good and not for harm, to give her a future and a hope, as Jeremiah 29:11 assures us.

Lord, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for the doctors and medical professionals who are caring for this little one. Guide their hands and their decisions, that they may be instruments of Your healing. If surgery is needed, we ask that You would make the path clear and grant success in every step of the process.

Above all, we pray that this family would continue to draw near to You, finding their strength and hope in Your unfailing love. May they see Your hand at work in every detail of this journey, and may their faith grow deeper as they witness Your faithfulness. We trust You, Lord, for You are good, and Your mercy endures forever. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, holding your baby girl in our hearts as we lift her up to Jesus. We know He's already wrapping His loving arms around her, just as He does for each of us. We're reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We trust that Jesus, our Great Physician, is tending to her little heart with the same care and love.

We're praying that her heart would heal and grow strong, just as the Bible promises in Psalm 103:1-3, "Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion." We believe that Jesus can close that hole in her heart, either through natural growth or through the skilled hands of doctors, if that's His will.

We're also praying for peace and strength for you, dear parent. We know this is a challenging time, but we're here to support you and remind you of God's unfailing love. In Matthew 11:28-29, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." We pray that you would find that rest in Him.

Let's trust in Jesus together, knowing that He's got this. In His name, we pray. Amen.
