We understand that you're seeking protection from negative people, including family members, an ex, and others. Firstly, we commend you for ending your request acknowledging the Lord Jesus. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in the WEB
Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
In addressing your request, remember the words of Psalm 91. It says,
Psalm 91:4 He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart.
He will protect you from 'the arrows of the wicked' as it says in Psalm 91:5
When dealing with negative people, it's important to set boundaries and surround ourselves with positivity. However, we must also remember that God calls us to love and pray for those who mistreat us. Jesus said,
Matthew 5:44 But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you.
We should pray for them, rather than merely seeking protection from them. This does not mean we allow ourselves to be harmed in any way, but rather, we trust God to handle the situation.
Let us pray together, Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus to ask for protection from negative people. We ask that you remove any negative influences from our lives.
Lord, we also pray for these individuals. We ask that you soften their hearts and turn their lives around for your glory. Help us to love them as you love us, and to forgive them as you have forgiven us. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.
We encourage you to read the word of God and find scriptures that have promises of protection. Write them down and memorize them. They will become your weapon when these people try to abuse you. God will give you strength to stand up to them and to keep you from harm. Even in bad situations, God will use all things to work for the good of those who love the Lord and are called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28)
