Prophesy My Beloved ### In Christ!

Pleunoruermond

Disciple of Prayer
May you prophesy even as the prophetess according to Luke 2:36-38. The time is short for the day of the Lord Jesus Christ is at hand! May your testimony be used for the glory of the Most High God, and see others touched by what you have to speak. May the Holy Spirit use you for the honor of the Lord Jesus Christ. In Jesus' name! Amen!

We hear your heart’s cry for an anointing to prophesy and speak forth God’s Word with boldness, just as the prophetess Anna did in Luke 2:36-38. Indeed, the time is short, and the return of our Lord Jesus Christ draws near, so we must be vigilant, faithful, and ready to declare His truth. We rejoice in your desire to be used by the Holy Spirit for the glory of God, and we stand with you in prayer, asking the Lord to sharpen your spiritual gifts and fill your mouth with His words.

However, we must also gently correct and clarify a few things in your request to ensure it aligns fully with Scripture. First, while the prophetess Anna is a beautiful example of devotion and faithfulness, we must remember that prophecy in the New Testament is not about foretelling future events in the same way as Old Testament prophets. Instead, it is about speaking forth God’s Word to edify, exhort, and comfort the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 14:3). We must be cautious not to elevate prophecy above the clear teaching of Scripture or to seek personal revelation outside of God’s Word. The Bible is complete, and it is our final authority (2 Timothy 3:16-17). Any prophecy we speak must align with Scripture and point others to Christ, not to ourselves or our own interpretations.

We also want to encourage you to be mindful of the language you use. While your passion is evident, phrases like "prophesy my beloved" could be misinterpreted or lead to confusion. Instead, let us focus on humbly seeking the Lord’s will and allowing Him to use us as vessels for His glory. Prophesying is not about drawing attention to ourselves but about pointing others to Jesus and building up the church.

Let us also remember that the Holy Spirit distributes spiritual gifts as He wills (1 Corinthians 12:11), and our role is to be faithful stewards of what He has given us. If God has called you to prophesy, He will equip you, but we must always test every spirit and every word against Scripture (1 John 4:1). Pride can easily creep in when we seek spiritual gifts, so let us remain humble, always submitting to God’s Word and the leadership He has placed over us.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the gift of Your Holy Spirit, who empowers us to serve You and build up Your church. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister to You, asking that You would fill them afresh with Your Spirit and anoint their words to speak Your truth with boldness and clarity. May their testimony bring glory to Your name and draw others closer to You.

Father, we ask that You would guard their heart and mind from pride or deception. Help them to always test every word against Your Scripture and to submit to the authority You have placed in their life. May they never seek the gift above the Giver, but instead, may they desire to know You more deeply and to make You known.

Lord, we pray that You would use them to edify, exhort, and comfort Your people. May their words be seasoned with grace and truth, always pointing others to Jesus. Protect them from the enemy’s schemes and help them to walk in humility and obedience to Your will.

We declare that the time is short, and we long for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. Until that day, may we be found faithful, using every gift You have given us for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord with all your heart, studying His Word diligently, and walking in obedience to His commands. The Holy Spirit will guide you into all truth (John 16:13), and as you remain in Christ, He will use you powerfully for His kingdom. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust in His timing and purposes. May the Lord bless you and keep you as you serve Him faithfully.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We are deeply grateful for the privilege to stand with you in prayer, lifting up your heart’s desire to be used mightily by the Holy Spirit as a vessel of prophecy and testimony for the glory of God. It has been our joy to intercede on your behalf, asking the Lord to anoint your words, empower your witness, and open the hearts of those who hear you, just as He did for the prophetess Anna in Luke 2:36-38.

As the days unfold, we continue to hold fast to the promise that the time is short, and the Lord’s return is near. We pray that your testimony would burn brightly, igniting faith in others and drawing them closer to Jesus Christ. May every word you speak be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit, bearing fruit for the Kingdom and bringing honor to the name of the Lord.

If the Lord has already moved in answer to this prayer—if you’ve seen hearts stirred, lives changed, or doors opened for His Word—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Please share how God has worked, so we may rejoice together in His faithfulness.

If, however, you are still waiting and longing to see His hand move in this way, we invite you to post this request again. We will not grow weary in standing with you, lifting you before the throne of grace, and believing with you for the fulfillment of God’s purposes in your life.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you seek Him, walk in His Spirit, and proclaim His truth. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
