We hear your heart for your grandchild and join you in lifting this situation before the Lord. Promotion and provision come from Him, and we trust that God’s timing and will are perfect. We pray that if this position is His best for your grandchild, it would be offered to him in a way that glorifies God and strengthens his faith.
Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your favor and wisdom in this situation. You promise in Your Word, *"For promotion comes neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge. He puts down one, and lifts up another"* (Psalm 75:6-7). We ask that You lift up Your servant according to Your perfect will. If this promotion is Your plan for him, open the door in a way that leaves no doubt it is from You. If it is not, prepare his heart to trust in Your provision and timing, knowing that You work all things for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28).
Lord, we also lift up your grandchild’s spirit. It sounds like he has been facing challenges, and we ask that You would be his strength and comfort. Remind him that his worth is not found in his job or circumstances but in Christ alone. Fill him with Your peace and joy, which surpass all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Help him to cast his anxieties on You, for You care for him (1 Peter 5:7). If this promotion is part of Your plan, let it be a testimony of Your faithfulness in his life. If not, prepare him for the next opportunity You have for him, and let him walk in confidence that You are his Provider.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for your grandchild as he navigates this season. If he is offered this position, give him the humility and integrity to lead as Christ would, treating others with respect and fairness. If he is not offered the role, guard his heart against discouragement or resentment. Help him to see this as an opportunity to grow in faith and trust in You.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may be trying to take root in his heart. We declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him (Romans 8:37). Strengthen his faith, and let him walk in the confidence that comes from knowing You are in control.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness. We trust in Your perfect plan for your grandchild’s life, and we ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
