Promotion At Work

I went in for a interview at work for a promotion and my boss was so negative and disrepestful the interview turn out so bad I could not bleive it

Look up! Hang in there - hold tight!!!Things may not look right or bright,but as difficult as it may seem relief is in sight. Close your eyes and see it. Visualize positive results from his negative, disrespectful treatment. You are still the wonderfully and fearfully made person that the Creator God caused you to be!! His very essence is in you - do not change.

Judge not by appearances, but with right judgment. Realize that every experience is an opportunity to attain greater spiritual understanding. If the experience is unworthy to behold, remove your focus from it. Take a deep breath, followed by an earnest prayer for peace and divine order to be established. In James 5:16 it is written: "the prayer of the righteous is powerful and effective".

Maintain your dignity and your infinite trust in the power of your God. Continue to give of your best and to look your best also at all times but especially on the job, and watch God work.

Your promotion is coming - in the right time! Be blessed!!!

Dear Terrilynn,

Sometimes our first reaction to someone's anger is to return the anger. However, to do so places us in the same place where they are and much of the time people can't explain why they are angry or negative. It seems as if you have made a choice. You have 'chosen' to let things go and not fuel the fire. You have chosen to be the bigger person by ignoring an offense. I applaud your decision. I am sure God is proud of you as well. Now it's time to turn the person over to the Lord. We pray that this person

is open to the Lord and he/she is guided with God's gentle mercy and peace. We ask that this person realizes that the disrespect and negativity displayed was inappropriate and they will apologize. We ask that the Lord fill his/her mind with wisdom so he/she is more careful in the future when dealing with others. And we pray that Terri will receive favor for her promotion. Thank You for hearing our prayers. In Jesus' name. AMEN!

Proverbs 19:11 tells us to "A man's wisdom gives him patience; it is to his glory to overlook an offense."
