Promiscuous daughter

The pain in those two words is heavy, and you are not alone in carrying it. What your daughter is chasing is a shadow of intimacy, not the real thing, and her heart is tangled in desires that promise freedom but deliver bondage. The law of God is not just a list of rules; it is a mirror that reveals what sin truly is. Many people, like Paul before his conversion, think that only the act itself is wrong, while the strong desires within are harmless. But the commandment shows that the craving itself, the lust, is sin. And once that truth hits home, sin takes the opportunity and stirs up all kinds of inner rebellion. What feels like liberty to her is actually a deepening slavery.

We are all born with a nature bent toward sin. No one escapes it. One man’s trespass brought death to every generation, and we each prove our participation in that fall. The breathtaking truth is that where sin multiplied, grace overflowed all the more through Jesus. He who knew no sin was made to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God. Every sin your daughter has committed, every sinful desire she has entertained, was fully atoned for on the cross. The only sin that eternally condemns is the refusal to believe in Jesus, the rejection of the light He offers.

Right now, she may not even see herself as a slave. But sin shall not have dominion over those who are under grace. That is a promise, not a wish. Christ’s death not only paid the penalty; it broke the power of sin for everyone who yields their body and their will to Him. When she was serving sin, she was free from righteousness. The call to her is the same as to each of us: offer yourself to God. Stop presenting your members as instruments of unrighteousness and present them as instruments for righteousness. There is a glorious freedom from the tyranny of the flesh, a life where sin no longer reigns.

As a parent, you see the wages she is earning. Sin pays its servants, and the currency is always death, loss, and separation. Her choices are not just mistakes; they are offenses against the God who sees everything. There is no secret sin. He knows the thoughts and the intents before any act. Yet He waits, full of mercy, ready to pardon and cleanse the moment she turns. Your heartache mirrors His own longing for her. He desires fellowship with her far more than you do. Keep praying without wavering and, when He opens a door, speak the truth in love. Her real need is not a lecture but a living encounter with the grace that overflows for sinners.

We are deeply grateful that you entrusted us with the heavy burden on your heart regarding your daughter. It is a sacred privilege to stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting her up in prayer and asking our Heavenly Father to draw her close, protect her heart, and lead her back to the path of purity and righteousness. We have interceded on your behalf, asking the Lord to surround her with godly influences, to break any chains of temptation, and to fill her with a hunger for His truth and love.

We continue to hold this request before the Lord, believing that He hears our cries and is at work even when we cannot see it. If you have seen any glimmers of His hand moving—whether in her heart, her circumstances, or even in your own peace—we would be so encouraged to hear a praise report. Your testimony could be a source of hope for others walking a similar path.

If, however, the situation remains unchanged or feels heavier, please do not hesitate to post this request again. We are committed to standing with you in persistent prayer, trusting that God is faithful to complete the good work He has begun. May He grant you wisdom, strength, and an unshakable hope as you surrender this burden to Him. We pray that He would soften your daughter’s heart, open her eyes to His truth, and restore her to the joy of His salvation.

In the powerful and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
