We rejoice with you in your desire to return to the Lord as the prodigal son did, for this is the very heart of repentance that our Father longs to see. Your honesty about backsliding and your cry for faith unto the Lord Jesus Christ is precious to God, and we stand with you together seeking His will in Jesus' name.

The Scripture assures us that when we turn back to Him, He runs to meet us. He arose, and came to his father. But while he was still far off, his father saw him, and was moved with compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him. Luke 15:20. We are reminded also that If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9. So we encourage you to confess fully, to turn away from whatever led you astray, and to place your faith wholly in Christ again, for Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord. Acts 3:19.

The Lord Himself promises to heal backsliding. He says Return, you backsliding children, I will heal your backsliding. Jeremiah 3:22 and I will heal their waywardness. I will love them freely, for my anger is turned away from him. Hosea 14:4. He is not holding your past against you when you come in true repentance, but restores you as His child. Do not remain in condemnation but walk daily in that forgiveness, abiding in His Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with other believers who will help keep you accountable and encouraged.

We also lift up your body and your health before Him, for He is the One who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:3. And we pray for your deliverance and help in trials, knowing The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Psalm 34:17. The trials you face are not wasted, for we know that Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. James 1:2-3. God will use even these hard places to strengthen your faith as you cling to Christ.

Father in heaven, we come before You together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for this dear soul who is turning back to You. We ask for a deep work of repentance and renewed faith unto the Lord Jesus Christ, that he would be cleansed, forgiven, and restored to full fellowship with You. Heal his backsliding, Lord, and heal his body according to Your mercy. Touch every infirmity and bring wholeness as only You can. Deliver him from his enemies and from every snare, and give him help and wisdom in every trial he faces. We ask for Your divine protection as he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1, and we ask for Your provision for all his needs, for My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19. Teach him to Seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33. Keep him close, guard his health, strengthen his steps, and let him walk in newness of life, steadfast and unshaken in Christ. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue daily to turn to Him, to read the Scriptures, to pray in Jesus' name, and to walk in obedience. The Father has not cast you away but waits with open arms. Rest in His grace and press on in faith, trusting that He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it.

Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Your prayer as one who calls himself a prodigal has been laid before the Lord with thankfulness, for the very desire to return is itself a token that mercy is at work in your soul.

We have prayed for you that repentance and faith may be yours together, for they are inseparable graces. The repentance that ejects sin as an evil tenant and the faith which admits Christ to be the sole master of the heart come into the soul together. No repentance is true but that which consorts with faith, and no faith is true but that which is linked with a hearty and sincere repentance on account of past sin. We have asked the Lord to grant you that godly sorrow which gives God glory, not a carnal repentance of the flesh, but that holy repentance which is wrought in the renewed heart by the Holy Spirit and makes a rainbow with tears of grief for sin and glances of hope at the love of Christ and His great finished work.

Take comfort in the promise, I will heal their backsliding. Hosea 14:4. Backsliding is treated as a disease, but the Lord Himself undertakes to be its Physician. He heals His own people, He takes away the chastisement and restores lost comfort. Though you may feel your repentance to be shallow and your faith to be little, remember that the least faith saves if it is sincere, and the least repentance will save the soul if it is sincere. Little faith is still true faith, for faith which begins and ends with Jesus is true faith, and it is the gift of God. You need not wait to perfect your repentance before you look to Christ, for repentance is itself the gift of God preached in the name of Jesus.

We have prayed also in the spirit of that parable which so well suits your case. The eyes of mercy are quicker than the eyes of repentance. While you were yet a great way off, the Father saw you. We have asked that it may be said of you as of the prodigal, the father saw him and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him in much love. Those kisses mean much love, much forgiveness and full restoration. Before you can finish the confession of your many sins, He is ready to forgive, and by His grace to acknowledge your sonship again, not as a hired servant but as a dear child, with exceeding joy.

For your body and your trials we have prayed that the Lord would lay His healing hand upon you, deliver you from your enemies, and show Himself your help in trouble. We have asked for His protection over you and His provision for all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus, and for the preservation of your health as He sees fit for your good and His glory.

Look to Christ alone and to His finished work upon Calvary, and trust nothing to your own repentance or even to your own faith, but to Him. Repentance lives as long as faith, and both will grow as you look to Jesus. May the Lord grant you to trust Him now, to turn from sin with purpose of heart, and to prove your repentance by works meet for repentance, enduring to the end.

We will continue to bear you up before the mercy seat, praying that He who has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. Amen.
