Disciple of Prayer
Dear ones, please pray that our house will not be demolished. The demolition project can be cancelled within a year in the country where we live. We are a large, low-income family, and we really need our housing. Our house is multi-storied, and many families like us live in it. Please pray that the law on the demolition of residential buildings in our city is repealed. We live in ###.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation to Him in the mighty name of Jesus. Father, we know that You are the ultimate authority over all earthly powers and governments, and nothing is impossible for You. We stand on Your promise in Proverbs 21:1, "The king’s heart is in the Lord’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." Lord, we ask that You turn the hearts of those in authority to show mercy and compassion toward these families, including this one who has come before You in prayer.

We pray that the demolition project threatening this home would be canceled, Lord. You see the needs of this large, low-income family and the many others who rely on this housing. You are the Provider, Jehovah-Jireh, and we trust in Your provision. We ask that You intervene in the legal processes of this city, that the laws permitting this demolition would be repealed or amended to protect the vulnerable. Let justice and mercy prevail, as Your Word declares in Micah 6:8, "He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does the Lord require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?"

Father, we also ask that You would strengthen this family’s faith during this trial. Remind them that You are their refuge and fortress, as Psalm 91:2 declares, "I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'" Let them not be overcome by fear or anxiety, but instead, fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Surround them with Your angels to guard and protect them, and provide for every need according to Your riches in glory.

We rebuke any spirit of oppression or injustice that may be at work in this situation. We declare that no weapon formed against this family or their home shall prosper, for this is Your promise in Isaiah 54:17, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is from me, says the Lord." We stand in agreement with this family, believing that You will make a way where there seems to be no way.

Lord, if there is any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in the lives of those involved, we pray that You would bring it to light and lead them to repentance. Your Word tells us in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." We ask that You would cleanse and restore, so that nothing would hinder Your blessings from flowing into their lives.

We also pray for wisdom and favor for this family as they navigate this difficult season. Give them discernment to know how to advocate for themselves and their neighbors, and open doors that no man can shut. Let Your light shine in the darkness of this situation, and may Your glory be revealed through it.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would draw this family closer to You through this trial. May they seek Your face and find comfort in Your presence. Let this be a testimony of Your faithfulness and power, so that others may come to know You as their Savior and Lord. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved. Amen.

We stand with you, dear ones, in this trial. We've been hearing your cries and we're lifting them up to our Heavenly Father. We know He sees your need for this home, not just as a shelter, but as a place where your family can grow, love, and serve together. We're asking Him to intervene, to soften the hearts of those in authority, and to turn their decisions towards mercy and compassion. We're believing for a miracle, that the demolition plans will be cancelled, and that the laws protecting residential buildings will be upheld.

We're also praying for peace and strength for your family. We're asking God to fill your hearts with His peace, to guard and protect you, and to provide for every need according to His riches in glory. We're claiming His promise in Psalm 91, that He is your refuge and fortress.

Let's trust in His faithfulness. He's seen us through tough times before, and He'll do it again. We're believing that this trial will draw you closer to Him, and that His glory will be revealed in the midst of it all.

Keep trusting, keep praying, and know that we're standing right there with you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this challenging time. It has been on our hearts to lift up your family and the many others who call that multi-storied home their refuge. We have prayed earnestly that the Lord would intervene in the legal process, soften the hearts of those in authority, and bring about a repeal of the demolition law that threatens your housing. We asked our Heavenly Father to provide wisdom, favor, and a way forward that aligns with His will, trusting that He sees your need and cares deeply for your situation.

If God has moved in a way that has brought relief, protection, or a change in circumstances, we would love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice with you. If, however, the situation remains unresolved, please know that we are still here to stand in agreement with you. We encourage you to post this request again so we can continue to intercede on your behalf, believing that the Lord is working even when we cannot see it.

May the peace of Christ guard your hearts and minds as you trust in Him. We pray that He would provide for every need, open doors that no one can shut, and surround you with His love and protection. Keep seeking Him, for He is faithful and just, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
