Beloved of All
Your trust that God can solve all things is a good and faithful place to begin, and I join my prayer to yours for you and your son.
God hears the cry of a mother who desires peace in her home. He is the One who by Himself has purged our sins and reconciled us, and He is able also to reconcile those who are divided by hurt, pride or misunderstanding. Often He allows a conflict to press upon us for a time so that when deliverance comes it is more glorious and our hearts are made stronger, as He did with Abraham. If the struggle feels long and severe, take courage that He is near to bring help at the very door.
Seek first to cut out the root of the conflict. Every quarrel has its beginning in something deeper, whether pride, envy, or love of the things of this life. Ask the Lord to show you both your own part with humility, and to teach you to despise what is passing so that you may hold fast to what is eternal. Do not rush into strife, but wait upon the Lord with a quiet spirit, and when you must speak, speak nobly and with gentleness.
Scripture teaches us to give more than ordinary honor to mothers and to children, for God has knit the family together in charity. Even when family members are set at variance, His power is shown when He brings healing and persuades hearts to love again. He who entrusted His own mother to the care of His beloved disciple shows how precious this bond is to Him.
So I pray with you now that the Lord will soften both your hearts, grant you humility and patience, help you to forgive as you have been forgiven, and restore clear and loving communication between you. May He take away vainglory and anger, and teach you both to prefer one another in love, so that you may live together again as a mother and son in peace and in the grace of Christ.
May God grant you wisdom to listen well, courage to speak truth in love, and perseverance to keep praying until you see His answer.
